It's also come out that perhaps the only ball 2psi under was the one handled by the Colts.

It's amazing how this "story" gets flimsier and flimsier by the day. Didn't stop the press from taking it and running with it. ESPN reported this morning that the NFL issued a statement saying there was intentional tampering by the Patriots. That's just irresponsible.

Other than pats fans imaginations, where has it been reported the only 2psi ball was the one on the colts sideline?

Grogan continues to imagine this is going poof shows an awesome level of dilusion I might add.

Where's the flimsiness you're talking about. Grigson isn't a lightweight. He's one of the best GMs in the NFL. I wish we had him. This makes the case even stronger. There is no way the NFL is trying to screw over the New England Patriots. It's would just tarnish the league esp if proven that the SB winner is a cheater. They brought all of this on themselves. Just because little Billy doesn't like to play by the rules.

I was referring to the fact that the Chris Mortensen's original report is under fire, specifically the amount of "under inflation" we're talking about.

You're gonna have to beat them on the field.

The Patriots deserve the W. Even the pick at the end was maybe partially due to the mental intimidation of a Belichick team over an opponent. The Seahawks were confused because you never know what he's going to do. They out thought themselves trying to out think Belichick. But now it's time for some punishment.

So the guy that took the balls into the bathroom to deflate them was in the bathroom for 98 SECONDS and not the earlier 90 seconds reported.

THAT initial report is the one that needs to come under fire.

Oh, wait, that doesn't matter, right?

    It's just 8 seconds--that's like a tick over a minute and a half.

Where was that guy for the rest of the hour or whatever time he had the balls? Why is everybody focusing on a particular minute and a half?

Because the Pats want them to!

    National Football League[edit]
Grigson was hired by the St. Louis Rams as a national scout in 1999. He was part of the Rams' Super Bowl XXXIV championship team in 1999 and the Rams' NFC Championship/Super Bowl XXXVI team in 2001 as an area scout.

On May 15, 2004, Grigson was hired by the Philadelphia Eagles as a western regional scout. He was a part of the Eagles' NFC Championship/Super Bowl XXXIX team in 2004. On June 8, 2006, he was promoted to director of college scouting,[1] and on February 3, 2010, he was promoted to director of player personnel.[6]

Grigson was hired by the Indianapolis Colts as their general manager on January 11, 2012. After a surprising 2012 season, which put the Colts back in the NFL Playoffs with an 11-5 record, Grigson earned Executive of the Year honors from the Sporting News [7]and Pro Football Weekly.[8] He also won the 2013 Drew Brees Mental Toughness Award from the Northwest Indiana Chapter of the National Football Foundation.[9] On January 11, 2015 -- Grigson's third anniversary with the team -- the Indianapolis Colts beat the Denver Broncos to qualify for the AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots. After losing to the Patriots badly Grigson cried like a baby and turned in the Patriots for using under inflated footballs since his team couldn't win on the field he would try juvenile tactics that proved to be nonsense. It was later found that Grigson also suffers from Klinefelter syndrome

I don't think anybody cares about this anymore other than fans of AFC East teams who are disgruntled and looking for any way to invalidate a rivals success

Must be something in the water in Indy. Polian used to go bonkers when the Patriots beat his team. You could see him going ape shit in the visiting team box.

Could this have been cooked up by Polian? I'm usually not into conspiracy theories but if anyone in the NFL hates NE it would be Polian, and he has ties to Indy for sure.

Just because otherwise you are a solid person doesn't mean you don't have a hot button. Getting beat down every time can cause an emotional response

Or knowing that the team across the sidelines from you is breaking rules and cheating to create success could also cause an emotional response.... just saying.

Yes because a football a couple of ticks low for a half is why you lost 45-7. Lol.

Don't conference championship game balls have a special logo printed on them?

Ahhh the old fall back of the Patriot fans.... well they won the game 45-7. Assuming they broke the rules which I think is a very good possibility the fact that they won the game 45-7 instead of 17-16 validates them cheating.

Oh baloney. You implied that the reason the Pats beat the Colts was they cheated. Sorry you are going to have to come up with some pretty strong evidence for that claim.

I never said that at all.... you made a comment about Polian being a good guy but "doesn't mean you don't have a hot button. Getting beat down every time can cause an emotional response "

I just implied that maybe Polian was aware of the shenanigans that Bellichicken used to win many a game and that could be why he would get so angry.

And don't spin my comment and neglect to answer the question.... you are saying the Colts lost 45-7 so "a few ticks" wouldn't be a big difference and I just stated questioned that the final score doesn't exonerate the Pats from cheating assuming they did.
