Frustrating loss in a game they should have won but this team is getting really good, as they get healthier and if they can stay out of foul trouble(basically the entire team was in foul trouble Sat and 2 guys fouled out) they will be a tough out in March. On to UVa, it doesn't get easier tonight w/ Virginia coming off a loss but it's a game Carolina needs if they want to win the ACC. a win tonight and they are tied for the lead. I don't like the Sat/Mon schedule they inherited when the old BE folded.

Looked like they were going to possibly steal one, however Pitt hits a big shot at the finish clinches the win. SEC: - Kentucky waltzes past a not-that-bad Alabama team. Big match up problems vs. the 'Cats for the Tide. WCC: - Gonzaga with a win over Memphis. The Spokane, WA powerhouse with an off-day scrimmage scheduled with the Lewis & Clark High School Tigers then on to square off against the Santa Clara Broncos.

Thanks for the update Joe- I missed some of those games. Pretty pathetic that you post a basketball post and just because NC loses and Duke wins their basement fanboy calls it a troll post. Duke was impressive. They look like the best ACC team to me by a decent margin. I am surprised ND had a let down game though. As for SJU, every year I personally underestimate the value of a good bench and every year I don't learn my lesson. They are a great example of the importance of the bench or lack thereof a bench. Did you hear about the VCU kid? 11 steals away from the all time record and he tears his knee. What a shame. They are a good team too and that's going to hurt them tremendously.
