Revis fatigue....let's move on...the Patriots didn't win SB 49 because of Revis

That doesnt matter..Brady will just restructure so he gets 2 mil a year.

Face it boys, until Brady retired we're screwed.

With Rex gone why would Revis want to come back here anyway? He loves playing for Rex not Todd Bowles........I see him ending up in Buffalo or back in New England...He had his best years under Rex .I really think we are a long shot to bring him back Idzik ruined that chance last year

Gilmore and Revis at corners in Buffalo....with that front 7...if they could find just a decent veteran QB the Bills might be dangerous

As long as Rex is HC, he'd find a way to fuck it up.

Besides money, is there anyone that can provide one logical reason why Revis would come back to the Jets?

Not without Rex here I can't,Its a totally diffrent oginiazation now from top to bottom.Unless he is a Bowles fan the only way we get him is by overpaying and I hope we don't because he is only getting older

I think you mean "let him help another team win a Super Bowl". Because regardless of his exact chronological age, he is clearly still very much in his prime, and will likely be for at least another 3-4 years. Look how many great years Champ Bailey had before he tailed off? Or Deion Sanders? Or Rod Woodson, just to name a few....DBs can have long careers.

Unless the Jets think they'll be a contender within the next couple of years, I see no point.

Revis is now my most hated player that ever put on a Jets uniform. He's Judas.

theres no need to state any other reason. Money is the number 1, 2 and 3 motivating factor for every player in the NFL. only fans come up with bullshit reasons like this guy likes the coach, or his best friend plays on that team or he went to high school in that town blah blah blah,,,,its all complete nonsense. if the Jets offer Revis the best deal, he'll be a Jet. Simple

Yeah, but what about the argument that the difference between 6 and 8 mil. is like the difference between, idk, Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba, or the difference between a Lamborghini and a Maserati, ...in other words, if the choice is between filthy rich and filthy filthy rich, other factors come into play, like where the player's wife wants to live, where they want their kids to grow up, which team gives the player a better chance for a championship, the coaching staff, etc....

they'll pick a team for a nickel more. Those other reasons you mentioned are maybe factors number 4, 5, 6....1,2,3 is money money money

at the end of the day, revis coming back would be like lebron coming back to cleveland

he comes back a champion. everyone WILL forgive him because he is great at what he does, regardless of how we feel right now. it would be great for him cause we'd probably be paying him the highest salary, but also great for his business because he could re-market himself in New York as someone that returned

I doubt he comes back, but rex not being here won't be the sole reason he doesn't come
