No real big changes CBG...tomorrow morning when everyone rolls out of bed you check 2 things.
1 how much is on the ground
2 is it snowing or sleeting/freezing rain.
My guess is most will have around 5 to 6 and some will have sleet..some will still have snow. Those that are still getting snow at 7am will end up with high numbers before the days over...those that have sleet must remember that at some point, you will go back to snow later on.

im up CBG..and an amazing amount of precip has fallen in the last 4 hours...and now it will get very very ugly as the sleet line gets closer and closer...and getting this stuff off the driveway becomes real hard...but thats for later. The snow amounts are online..in fact...if this were not a real heavy snow..more fluffy..I should have been way off with my predictions...way off. But..its dangerous out there guys..very.

I had about 6 inches of accumulation, and the stuff coming down had already turned to sleet by the time I went out, around 4:45 AM.

and now creates problem number 2...this sleet and freezing rain on top of the snow..even plowed roads will be ice covered. Bad setup...hope everyone just chills and takes the day off. Other then NYC schools...all schools WEST seemed to be closed.

    oh
lol..well..no...pretty damn on damn it..but the point is if this were a fluffy snow, many areas would have double what they got..and then would have been way off. This, at least by me, is a pretty heavy snow.

mid week storm look less likely...only 1 model buying it but a huge one on tap for next Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday..even down south into Georgia/SC/NC.

The changeover line looks like it has slowed down...so still a decent amount of snow to fall. Much more snow to fall up north. Once you hear the sleet..get out there and get this off the ground bud.

Must have been more of a snow/sleet mix.

When I came out of the house at 6:30, I had another inch or so on the ground.

NJT buses are running, so I'm heading into the city.

A steady rain falling now in the city, on top of the earlier snow.

    A slushy, soggy mess.
