Yup. I just hope the Rangers can win the Cup this year, because losing last year was fucking painful. Too bad the Yankees are done for the next couple of years.

But Lynch was being stopped most of the night. You want to run him right into Woolfork. They didn't expect a pick at worst an incompletion. Also Seatle isn't a conservative team. That team is built on taking chances.

Like, fuck. The NHL admitted the refs fucked up with that uncalled goalie interference in Game 2, so it should have gone to Game 6, and the Rangers haven't been eliminated at home in the playoffs in eight years and Hank in Game 7s is money. Should have been ours.

The Seahawks receiver didn't make the play either. No way he should have allowed that pick to happen.

Oh give me a break. That play happened within 2 seconds. He didn't even see the defender.

Right. He didn't attack the ball but I'm sure he thought the pats weren't thinking pass.

You don't take high risk chances that late in the game, and when one mistake can cost you the SB. They should have ran Lynch on 2nd and 3rd down if need be. I'm almost certain he would have scored.

They could use upgrades at WR. All undrafted free agents? Who else in the NFL lines up with that?

That's not true... Brady and Edelman ate up the Seattle secondary all night. The only help the Pats got was a bullshit late hit call but to say the Pats didn't win is a joke. I hate them and I am so pissed that Seattle made a horrible play at the end but the Pats were down 10 and came back to win.

Can we stop with the Rags whining in a SB thread? They lost to a better team that outplayed them in every game and got to the finals playing back up goalies. Take it to the a Rangers thread. It's bad enough the Pats won. A Rangers a Pats daily double would be unthinkable.

    just don't understand

After the catch to the 5, incredible, I told everyone at the party, you run it

    run the ball

belichick was being foolish by not calling timeout

    you run it

    control the clock

even if you're stopped, you run it again

3 chance to get it in

if you throw, throw a fade

you don't throw it down the middle

It was if it was something out of the Jets playbook... it was so horrifically bad that you can't imagine an elite NFL would even think about calling it there.

He was stopped so much he ran for 100 yards and just got four yards on first-and goal from the five.

If you're GOING to call anything other than a Lynch run (which I sort of understand with twenty seconds and only one timeout remaining) then call a frigging bootleg, call a fade pattern to the guy who was doing a Calvin Johnson impersonation. Or shoot, run the clock down to only thirty seconds and then run the ball so you don't have to use your timeout or rush third down if you come up short. Literally anything they ran would have been better.

Even the Jets would have run the ball...that's how idiotic it was.

Seattle blew a ten point lead, covered Gronk with a LB when they have the best safeties in the league, didn't rush Brady up the middle on the two biggest third downs in the game and had the game won at the end only to lose on the worst play call I have ever seen. They lost a game they had in the bag.

I know there have to be worse play calls in history but I don't recall anything with that much on the line. I'm still in shock that Seattle didn't run it in that it feels like I am dreaming. I can't even imagine how bad it must feel to be a Seahawks fan. Blowing a 4th quarter lead. Having the ball up 10 in the 4th near midfield and failing to get a 1st down (I think Kearse dropped a ball that would have put them in the RZ) and knowing you win the game if you just play smart.
