The worst part about it is I think the Patriots were gonna let them score if they ran it to get the ball back

So much for Wilson's reputation if that's true because that would be a total ego " I want a Super Bowl winning TD" call. There is no logical reason to call into that play.

Terrible play call, terrible decision by Wilson to stay in that play, a loss well earned.

Plus poor execution by Wilson. He's a good winning player but he was bad 2 weeks ago and it was a bad throw that lost this game. To be honest though I've seen plays like that lose games before. As for the play call Carroll said he thought they were stacking the line for Lynch and wasn't sure a run would work. Didn't they score a TD earlier on a short pass in the end zone when it looked like they should have run it.

Just a ridiculous ending. Seattle blew it. Man did they blow it. It doesn't even make sense to be aggressive there. Be aggressive on 3rd down, burn more time at the very worst by running on 2nd down. And why throw to the most high risk area of the field??? Everything about that play was a fail. I feel bad for Wilson and Lynch, they played a great game, robbed at the end by a ridiculous playcall. Seattle's D also let them down big time. You do deserve to lose when you let the other team go on 2 long TD drives in the 4th quarter. Just a complete meltdown by their D in the 4th quarter.

I don't think so. Unlike the giants game where they could run out the clock and kick a game winning FG, here the Seahawks needed to score. If they were going to let them score they would have called a timeout to preserve some time after the last play. They were committed to trying to stop them. But you don't give up a TD there.

The Pats are officially the luckiest franchise in all of sports.

With one TO who cares if they stack the line? If they stop you you call the TO and throw on third and fourth down if you are worried about the clock.

I honestly dont know how I could take it if I was a Mets and Jets fan...

Thankfully I am a Yankees fan, but the suffering is so overwhelming with the Rangers, Jets, Knicks...I cannot believe the amount shit we have taken

It wasn't PI on that play but the Patriots Db outmuscled the Seattle receiver. It's on him too for letting this kid come in knock him off the ball and intercept the ball.

Brady on ESPN and NFL Network at the same time. It's like a nightmare.

I probably would have gotten crazy by now if I was a Mets fan in addition to being a Rangers, Jets and Knicks fan.

Luckily, at least the Rangers have turned it around.

Weird stat they just threw out.
Lynch was 1 for 5 on runs from the 1 this season. 2 losses, 2 NG.

One of those where they both go for it at the same time. The contact was early, no doubt, but the ref isn't calling that there. It's just too risky of a playcall. Carroll was saying it was a "throwaway" down... like they were running something low risk and could just come back to the run on 3rd down. Doesn't make sense. Just doesn't.

This game doesn't bother me because I am angrier at the Seahawks stupidity than the pats winning.
