    No ribs? No bacon? Man, can't you get somebody to stretch the rules a little, kind of like the eruv thing at least a couple of times a year? Superbowl Sunday for one and BLTs when the big farm fresh tomatoes hit in the summer?

    Stumps humming along at 225F. 2 Pork Butts, 3 racks St. Louis Ribs, 1 Turkey breast, 1 leg of lamb. So far, so good. Can't open the smoker for pics but at the 4hr mark, I'll open for a quick look see and take a few pics.

    Got some mini corn and Mac n Cheese for sides. Maybe an Apple Pie for dessert. Keeping it simple. Now if and when the Jets make the SB, it will be a feast!

    New Orleans Shrimp Creole prep. The absolute KEY is using shrimp stock--made that stock about a month ago when I was making jambalaya. There is another pound of shrimp going in this pot.

    I love cooking and I keep telling my kids I'm not living forever so I take pics and put them with the recipes so they can make this stuff for THEIR kids.

    I've got a 12 pack of Moosehead and 2/3 a small bottle of Jameson. I'll probably leave the Jameson home. The beer should be more than enough.
