That's a good post actually. When Rex Ryan showed up here bragging about defensive rankings I was really impressed, and he just got worse every year in every category. We need to be impressed with real results and not bullshit.
There, there, it's going to be ok. It's your problem you got "really impressed" with Rex Ryan's swaggerlicious press conferences. What you are witnessing here is the "real results" you are looking for. It's just that it happened on another team with arguably less talent than Rex ever was stricken with including one Jets has-been at cornerback. This is good news. Cheer up already.
First ever? We've always had this award - its the Assistant coach that gets the best HC gig the following off-season
Well, Dan Quinn's defense allowed the Pats to score 14 fourth quarter points and made no adjustments in coverage leaving Edeleman and Gronk wide open all night. Rex did a better job in covering the Pats with far less secondary talent. I'd say the Jets got the better coach in Bowles and Atlanta is left with a guy who never figured out how to stop New England.
Yeah seriously. Doesn't mean we're proclaiming the guy anything as a HC, just some nice news that speaks to why there's a little hope that he'll be a good hire
We will find out,he is literally going from the most talented defense in the league to the absolute worst,I think he is gonna be exposed
Yea pretty interesting that the "best D of our generation" and the Legeion of Boom allowed more points against NE than the Jets and their scrub-ass practice squad secondary.
Rex knew how to give NE fits, gotta give him that. The Jets could have the crappiest roster and still put up a good game against NE.
Bowles will be the better coach. He ran a good D the last 2 places he has coached and is well liked/respected by his players.
