    Like the Pats and Bengals. The Bengals get a bad rap for signing thugs, yet the Pats get a free pass because they are such a classy organization. I have no idea why that is and why we considered the circus.

    Bellicheat is close friends with U. Myer Than UF HC. It is well known in Gainsville that UF fixed things up for Fernandez by order of Myer's. Much like FSU with Winston.

    If it makes you happy to remove the Aaron Hernandez matter from consideration in this thread then by all means do so. It's obvious that drafting Hernandez was a rare example of fair play and good sportsmanship from the Patriots, and it's just a sad coincidence that he ended up murdering someone, lol.

    I don't think they knew he probably killed at least person but I don't believe for one second they didn't know he was involved in some shady stuff off the field. They tried to hide who he was behind a nice 10 million dollar extension.

    Regardless if NE wins the SB or not, this story will unquestionably taint their legacy and that of Brady and Belichick.

    When Brady leaves NE, and that's not an IF, but pretty much a certaintly.....sooner not later...... will the kid behind him enjoy the same success?? If they don't crack down the hoodie, you can bet on it!!

    That's logical. Gee, this guy has a shady past that might force us to release him at some point. I guess we should sign him to a huge extension that will kill our cap space if we have to release him due to these activities.....

    yep it was pretty stupid of them to give a murderer a big extension when they knew he was involved in some shady affairs off the field... and yet claim they were "duped". yet another reason belichick is an asshole.

    Welker busted his ass for that organization on and off the field, was underpaid and wanted that money for years. They chose to give it to a murderer instead. A guy who belichick personally advised should "lay low and rent a safe house for awhile"
