The NFL is right on the edge of becoming the WWF. They are standing on the precipice right now, they are looking into the abyss. They are about to leave the world of "sport" and leap into the world of "entertainment". It's sad. I grew up loving the NFL. I loved the competition, the battles, the true sport of it. Now, thanks to the New England Patriots, Bob Kraft, Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, and of course Roger Goodell, we look at a league that is about to jump into the world of "global entertainment". No different than WWF, Cirque d' Solei, Monster Truck Competitions, etc. By not banning the Patriots from this Super Bowl, Roger Goodell has stepped over that line.

To be fair I don't think there's anything he can say at this point that won't sound like bullshit. If he goes balls to the wall I didn't do it people will point at Roger Clemens and Lance Armstrong. If he is wishy washy he doesn't sound very convincing.
Agreed, but the weird part is this goes completely against his original statements. When he had that presser, he was adamant that they did nothing wrong. That they broke no rules and they did everything legal. Now, he is saying "we'll see". For a guy who was so sure that they did nothing wrong, it makes you wonder why now he's not so sure.
