You're right. I am a dumbass cuz I associate Baltimore with Ravens and was typing from memory, not with a text book inforont of me.
It was the Baltimore Colts, you know back before the Irsays did their midnight disappearing act. My bad. None the less... The scenario I gave did happen.

The snowplow was controversial, not cheating. IMO, it was innovative, I was at that game and LOVED it !!!! It wasn't until the year after the Pats did it that the NFL made it against the rules. So once again, we did not break any rules with that one.
Tuck Rule still exists and is called every year as it was the year we got the call. It was also called that same year on other occasions. For the record, I don't like the Tuck Rule either, would prefer they eliminate it, but the NFL keeps it and therefore, it isn't cheating. And if it was it would be the refs cheating not the team it was called for.

Other teams saying something means nothing. Plenty of teams have said the Colts pipe in sound, mess with the other teams in helmet communication, cranking up the heat... do you whine about that too ?

LOLOL.. the intelligence level around here is amazing.

My post isn't about SpyGate or Deflate Gate ... but no one around here can take a look and have a discussion. You want to discuss the Patriots history of cheating.. make your own post. In the meantime, I will answer the responses in my post as I see fit and will not be dragged into a Spygate/deflate gate peeing match.

    "I am not a crook."

"I did not have sex with that woman."

    "I don't believe I'm a cheater."

"As far as I know, we have complied with all the rules."

"I don't care what anyone thinks about Spygate or Deflategate."

No that is what you fail to grasp.... yes other teams have been caught cheating but instead of acting holier than my socks they give off this arrogance while other teams eat their humble pie and don't do it again. The reason it's a big deal with the Pats is that they are multiple offenders and they act like when they get caught that it's ok because it was a game they didn't need to cheat to win.

Maybe after you've just completed the complete anthology of the life and times of Don Shula, this place probably does appear somewhat dull.

    Ravens in 1970......
    that would be the Colts
man if you are going to put stuff out there at least get it right.
1970 the current ravens were the Brown.
now as to why these teams were not talked about how many had spygate, deflated balls since 2007 (Look at the fumble stats)
and also had the nickname the new england cheaters

I can only assume you're under 10 years old because you don't seem to have any idea who Don Shula is.

Yeah, this is where the Pats are going to have to go now. They're going to have to make cheating appear to be cool and the in thing to do. It must really suck for them getting caught flat-footed again.

The Pats fans on this forum remind me of Cartman from South Park.

Why didn't you throw in all the late hits that goes against teams that don't get flagged or fined? That cheating also.

You are right your post wasn't about those things. But your post cannot be replied to without discussing them. The public outcry is because other teams get punished for these things, take their licks and move on. The Pats act holier then thou while continuing to break the rules (or at least being accused of doing so) while seemingly never getting more then a slap on the wrist. Kraft demanding an apology the other night is the perfect example of this arrogance, their was a reasonable complaint levied against his team and the league is doing due diligence, they owe him shit. To take this back to the schoolyard, the rest of the league is tired of being punched in the face by Billy directly in front of the teacher while simultaneously being told a "what a good boy Billy is." So to answer your question, myself and many people I've talked to could care less about the cheating, it's the arrogance with which they conduct themselves. Side note: what kind of man leaves his wife on her death bed to handle a labour dispute when there are 31 other owners to handle it for him? A complete fuckign SHMUCK that's who. Kraft is the worst kind of piece of shit because he truly believes he isn't a piece of shit.

Two reasons why the Pats get most of the heat for their incidents. One they are more successful than the other teams you listed, hence they get scrutinized more than the other teams. Secondly, the Pats have had two major incidents the affected the play on the field while other teams' incidents were either outside the game or were simply unethical. You can poke holes in this all you want, but its not just the Jets fans that feel this way. Not to mention you guys scream and moan about Woody Johnson's stupid comment in a press conference as tampering so I hope you guys get punished to the full extent of the rules.

    "GreenerPastures
    Broncos:
    Multiple tampering charges."

This did not happen. This is made up.

"Circumventing 29 million to Elway that was then funneled to Terrell Davis"

Elway didn't funnel money to Davis. The Broncos deferred payments to Elway and Davis not in violation of the salary cap, but the league did not like it.

"Illegal videotaping of another teams walkthrough in 2010, under John Elway. Looks to me like he's a multiple offender
2- Illegal videotaping another teams walkthrough, SpyGate"

John Elway was not hired by the Broncos until 01/05/2011 and had nothing to do with the illegal taping that occurred on Oct 31,2010. Head coach Josh McDaniels and former Patriots Video guy Steve Scarnecchia were responsible for the illegal filming and were discovered and turned in by a Bronco employee. This lead to McDaniels being fired by the organization unlike in New England where this type of thing is tolerated . In trying to defend his actions McDaniels stated it was not like the Patriot multi-year illegal spying program because “That was practiced, that was coached, that was worked on,” McDaniels said in reference to the Patriots’ past practices.

After being busted for cheating the cheat McDaniels was welcomed back with open arms by the Patriots.

Do you really not know this story or were you lying that blatantly? All it did was implicate the Patriots more as two former Patriots tried to export Belichicks cheating programs to another franchise.
