Philly isn't getting rid of Foles.

Larry Fitz "trade for"....that's a joke. Fitz will mostly be cut by Zona and he's on the wrong side of 30 and not as productive of a player. I'd take Amari Cooper every time over a washed up Fitzgerald.

Mariota is going to have to be a very good QB to get to Chad's level as a passer and leader on the field. Most QB's drafted in the top 10 are viewed that way when they are drafted but only a small number of them ever get there.

Top 10 QB's from 2001 to 2012: Michael Vick, David Carr, Joey Harrington, Carson Palmer, Byron Leftwich, Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, Alex Smith, Vince Young, Matt Leinart, JaMarcus Russell, Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, Mark Sanchez, Sam Bradford, Cam Newton, Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert, Andrew Luck, RGIII, Ryan Tannehill.

21 QB's taken in the top 10 and maybe 6 of them were as good as Chad.

People think I get carried away, but if Chad never hurt his shoulder, he would have been a sure fire Hall of Famer... He would still be playing and we would be discussing him with the likes of Brady, Manning, Rodgers, and Brees.

Trading for a potential starting QB isn't treating draft picks trivially.

He better be aggressive addressing the team's needs especially the gaping hole at QB. If he's passive, waits for what's there he won't last long like Idzik.

The new regime has to make things happen especially at QB.

Of course he's lost productivity he played with awful QBs before Arians got there and this past season the Cards were ravaged with injuries at the QB position.

Would you rather see him in NE? They've been linked to him for a while now.

Loved Chad. Can you imagine him playing his career with a healthy shoulder AND under inflated balls?

    Washed up. LOL

Guy is a future first ballot Hall of Famer he's still got some gas left in the tank.

Bowles saw how good he is up close I'm crossing my fingers.

    Hey you may be right.

I want minimum two QBs brought in this offseason. One to replace Geno, another to compete with him for a roster spot.

Woody cleaned house. The new regime cleaned out the old scouting staff.

Clean house at the QB position too. Simms stinks. Vick is done. Geno has some talent but he stinks too.

I'd rather see him in NE if he is counting $23 million against the cap in 2015 - of course his salary would be renegotiated but you get the point.

Fitzgerald playing with Brady oh my gawd!

    That's record breaking stuff.

Let Harvin walk he's not worth that salary. Use that to pay for Fitzgerald. We need a #1 Fitzgerald is a #1.

We are trying to get younger not older

You get Fitz if you are in a win now situation, we are rebuilding and need to get younger players much rather draft a wr early or if someone like Cobb or Maclin his FA which is unlikely go after them not Fitz

So your answer is to bring in another QB that stinks? Cousins is dreadful, lost his job to Colt McCoy and ended up 3rd string on a team with a horrible QB situation.

    Younger, older, win now.

How about getting better? The Jets shouldn't limit themselves when it comes to improving the football team.

Fitzgerald on the Jets would make them a better football team. Period.

Cousins hasn't played enough for anyone to say he's this or that I think he has what 10 starts?

He has some talent, still has upside, some experience and I don't think he'll cost much. I think a mid round pick would be enough.

He beat the Ravens in 2012.

You know why he hasn't played enough? Cause he's terrible, he had an opportunity to play and lost his job to Colt McCoy. Trading mid round picks for terrible players is certainly not how you rebuild a team.

You cannot lose your job to Colt McCoy and be taken seriously. I saw him twice, admittedly not a fair sample. He was worse than Geno with the picks.
