Crazy....hey..maybe they need a bunch of time to set the wheels in motion or put the brakes on stuff. There was HISTORIC being typed all over the place..morons..ummm...me. So...I get it. Here in North Jersey...Wayne to be exact...FINALLY..picking up big time. Lets see how this plays out.
Jay, Im practically Edge's neighbor Not getting smashed yet, but wind and snow definitely picking up You called it, just like last night you called people saying "this is it??"
When you had so much down time which has been predicted for days now..days..for days the experts have said 2 to 4 during the day and then nothing until around 10 to 11pm. Thats why its hard to move off the bigger numbers. If the precip was moving away from us? I would get that..but everyone tell me..is this moving away from you? Or towards your location? LINK: http://www.wunderground.com/radar/r...&lightning=0&smooth=0&showlabels=1&rainsnow=0 Away or towards you?
exactly...but its CRAWLING. Its been moving like that for 3 hours...lol..its a crawl. Its coming..but slowly. Now..the good thing about that is when the heavy bands do come...they too will crawl..and there is why they believed at one time 2 to 4 inches an hour. We shall see.
Southern Nassau County here....It's been the same steady snow for the last 5-8 hours. No uptick at all. Went out a little while ago and would say we had about 3-4 inches.
You just answered my next question. That map looks like its spinning super slow You and most others said it would stall off nj, but damn that looks like a slow crawl
We've been getting a "f you" flake or two since 4 PM here in Madison. The Go Pro is still recording waiting for the big stuff.
Just drove 20 miles south and now am seeing some snow really start to fly. Looks like its coming just like jay said. I waivered a bit but never really doubted you jay
Looking at the radar, looks like the big stuff is still 1.5-2hrs out from Madison. Bergen is getting crushed right now though.
Jay, help me out. What the hell is going on with the Egg Harbor Township area? It's windy out, but no precipitation. We had some freezing rain around 6-7pm. Nothing since. Radar on weather.com shows a huge gap in South Jersey. Are we actually going to miss this entirely?
It will eventually rotate back towards your area but Gd....it might be to south for this rotation..let me check.
TY FJF! lol..hey..its going to bust I believe..just not like the WC says it will...or the short term models that have NYC getting 2 more inches of snow. I will bust south of Conn. No doubt...but by how much is the question. I think it will be much less than the Weather Channel says.
