thanks again...for me..this is a hobby and just looked at a short term model that say NYC only gets 2 more inches of snow...and the forum is FREAKING OUT...FREAKING OUT...FREAKING OUT...lol...now...not going to freak out yet...but a tad concerned but still not seeing how that happens..sticking to guns.

MBTA in Boston is closed all day tomorrow. Blizzard warning from 7 PM today until 1 AM Wednesday. Weather.gov says 10-16 tonight and 10-16 tomorrow, and then 2-4 Tuesday night. So their range is 22-36. I wonder if the MBTA will be up and running on Wednesday. I doubt it, I'm expecting to be snowed in for at least two days
Who's call is it to close the entire MTA? DeBlasio? Jay, what do u think of that? Considering snow has NEVER shut down the whole system before.
Jay, I looked out the window here in Fair Lawn NJ and we have maybe 4 inches right now. I know the heavy stuff isn't coming until later but it looks like a long shot we get 2 feet.
Northern Bergen County and the snow has completely stopped. At least an hour ago. But bitter cold. Bitter like the wolf. _
Dont want to get political Jon but I will. When a mayor is under a lot of external heat.....they do really dumb things and jump the gun to make moms and kids really happy...which makes husbands happy. While there is sarcasm in there...I really do believe it. This is his first moment to shine. These guys look at their window to shine and do drastic things. He could have waited to do that. Then again..there are alot of weird jump the gun moments going on. My boys school had an early dismissal....TODAY. TODAY. If I predicted 60 inches..I would feel the same. Our schools were closed down for Tuesday at 2pm today.
