I went to Opening Day at Fenway in April when they unveiled their newest banner and got their rings. There were a bunch of retired Patriots, Sox, Bruins and Celtics and they all brought out all their trophies (other than The Cup) and it was really quite impressive. A massive run to be a fan of Boston Sports over that span. Oh yeah, there was also EVERY injured Boston Marathoner and firefighter, cop and EMS worker involved in the bombing incident on the field handing out their rings. Yeah Boston has had a good run. _

Yes they have good sports teams, which is why I agreed that sports is all they have going for them. I lived in Mass for 4 years, most of my family is still there. Hell I even like the Red Sox, the only team I have any real problem with is the Patriots. Which is why I can say with unwavering confidence that Boston and the greater Massachusettes area, despite their many talented athletes, completely fucking sucks.
