If you think the 11 footballs were deflated by atmospheric pressure I have the same bridge to sell back to you. Having the commissioner in your back pocket doesn't make you clean either.

You're a football idiot if you think those formations were illegal. That's on you personally, I don't presume that others on this board feel the same way.

One thing NEP and Jets fans can agree on. You'd love to see Goodell fuck up Sherman.

I'll bite. Taping the Rams pre-SB practices 1) never happened and 2) was never part of Spygate

Spygate was over and the punishment was handed down in September 2007. The Rams report didn't come out until February 2008.

Sherman is brilliant. He basically made an ass out of himself on television and spun that into a personal brand name. He's his own little business out there.

That being said. I hate him.

I think at some point you need to have a little mercy and just let them believe this stuff. It really doesn't matter. The deflate gate thing was over the top media wise - which drew my interest. One hell of a sociology experiment.

I think the formation has never been used before in the NFL. Legal or not it's the first time the NFL has ever had a wr split out inside a tackle. The play worked exactly as it was designed; defense spreads out to cover a 5 receiver set and qb passed to wide open receiver disguised as a left tackle.

'That is the last time I will talk about that subject, for a long time"

    Stay on topic groggy.

I would love to have been there to witness him and Jim Harbaugh interacting when he was in college. I can't even imagine. Probably why he's such a dick now.

If Roger doesn't fuck him up I hope the Patriots will. That being said: Go Seahawks!

This was one of the biggest scandals in quite some time. I believe this not only deserves it's own thread, but should also be used repeatedly in related threads as evidence of the corrupt moral character of the team from the north.

Holy shit--a strong person of interest. Patriot locker room attendant who took the balls into a separate room after getting them from the refs.

    Stay tuned!! Pats going DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was not discretion. It was ruled a fumble and reviewed and called a tuck.

Bad rule, correct interpretation. But not discretion.

Not illegal and never been used? They call that innovation... although it's not entirely brilliant or new - I ran that in high school. I'd line up on the line of scrimmage in the flanker spot while being covered by an end. So I was a tackle. Flexed 8 yards out.

    Worked the same way.

Breaking news: sources tell @FOXSports the NFL has zeroed in on a locker room attendant w Patriots who allegedly took balls from officials locker room to another area on way to field. Sources say they have interviewed him and additionally have video. Still gauging if any wrong doing occurred with him but he is strong person of interest.

There is NO WAY he did this on his own.

    Not possible.
