Seems easy. Everyone's posting the same thing.

Every Patriots fan: We have no idea what happened.

    Every Jets fan: Hysterics.

I'll tell you one thing that seems to be changing... the legitimacy of the mort report that started this entire mess in the first place.

What's interesting is that it took Goodell multiple votes to get the votes he needed. Meaning his personal politics may only extend to about 17 owners.

At the conclusion of this season. There have been more than enough scandals and negative attention this season that the owners could justify it if they really wanted to.

I don't think that at all so much as you need to have shit for brains to think an 'in the tank' commissioner would run a sting against the team he's in the tank for.

I think many owners are just finding out about the Kraft-Goodell dinner that took place leading up to the AFC Championship game. A lot of bad press coming out of New England right now, maybe you haven't heard.

That can happen when you're playing in the super bowl.

He finally says something remotely intelligent. But out talking an idiot still gets you no cred on this board.

The nfl is making more money and is more popular than ever under goodells watch. I disagree with the idea that him having dinner with Kraft is inappropriate but I doubt the owners would ditch him over scandals or any of this shit since they're all lining there pockets quite nicely.

I doubt a single one of them cares more about winning than money.

I think that's what separates owners like Kraft and Jerry Jones... they are caught up in the actual game, not just the business. Woody should have Goodell over sometime.

    Well played.

Especially when there are allegations of cheating that one of the teams can't make disappear by 'tomorrow'.

Thoughts on the illegal formation done by Marshawn Lynch with the hand to the crotch? You must be very disappointed.

Ah, alright. Well if you were to rank the three biggest cheating scandals in all of sports, how would you do it? Here is my ranking:

    1) Spy-gate
    2) Deflation-gate
    3) Illegal formations that were actually legal but you will insist that because it was never seen it is somehow against the spirit of the rule.

If you think that Sherm really got busted for adderall (like all the other players in the league) then I have a bridge to sell you. And getting off on a technicality doesn't make you clean.

The illegal formations are on the referee's discretion. Kind of like the fumble that was called a tuck.

also Spygate was two separate issues:
    1) taping Rams pre-SB practices
    2) taping other teams (Jets) coaches' sideline signals during game to figure out for future games
