I'm not offended, it's a common view that you have, but you just sort of dropped in with judgment without actually saying anything but wait for the verdict, which just isn't happening with this thread. I don't know what to think, sure I am hopeful because fuck the Pats, but the NFL could come back with indisputable evidence to the contrary and I would accept it, but chances are that they don't do that in either case, and that is what I am expecting. But it's nice to see you actually offered an argument in another post which is what I was hoping you would do.
Not necessarily. A couple days ago it seemed absurd that the NFL would compromise the integrity of a playoff game by trying to catch a team in the act. Now it looks like that isn't the case. Who knows whether or not the buffoons running the show measured the balls properly at the beginning or whether or not they weighed both sides balls at both times. These guys are hardly competent these days. One would think that if they were trying to catch them in the act they would have video of the entire Pats sideline area, but again, we are assuming them to be both competent and forthcoming in the event that they did have such evidence. Edit: Back to the point of trying to catch them in the act, a poor time to try to enact such an idea. A better idea would have been to simply provide all the balls for this game behind the scenes. No news story, no black cloud hovering over the championship. Change the rule in the offseason and put it in the past. Now the NFL has no way out without looking pretty stupid.
one would think if they were trying to catch them in the act then they would have measured the balls hence billy boys statement about air gauges. Playing cya
I think you also assuming that the deflating of football's actually happened on the sideline and not shortly after the referee measurement in an indoor facility area.
I know you guys would never look at it the way I do, but the fact the league got rid of the tapes maybe fuels the idea that the violation was a lot worse than it possibly was. Despite the prevailing feelings on this board, I have never felt that Goodell has ever done the Pats any favors. And this "sting" he tried to pull furthers my point.

The refs hold the balls until about 10 minutes before gametime. IF the Pats messed with the balls it had to happen on the field.
111 pages? Seriously though...everywhere I turn to it's all anybody is talking about. Nevermind that there is..you know..a Superbowl in a week.
I hope the pats get squashed on SB Sunday. But win or lose they will always be that low down scum sucking cheating team. You can't teach a low life bellicheat integrity, fairness, and honesty. He would rather suck pig balls (WTF) than change.
They had some 'body language' 'expert' on CNN analyze the Presser. She basically said they were both full of shit...hahaha hahahahaha
Hey Pat fans. The term "sour grapes" is not synonymous with jealousy. Google the fable dooosh bags. Now if I were to say. "Who cares if your team is in the Super Bowl, I wouldn't want my team in it anyway." That would be considered sour grapes. Your welcome.
