Not that long ago, they were saying I was barely going to get anything. Weather Channel now says 10-18 inches. Assholes. NOAA says 5-9 inches Monday night and 7-11 inches Tuesday with maybe an extra inch Tuesday night. So anywhere from 12-21 inches. Fuck it, I'm moving to the South.
Ayyeeee. That's no good, no good at all. That'll be about the end result? But if I understand this correctly the majority of will come late afternoon/rush hour tomorrow night?
I mean..why even post a map..this for NYC and surronding areas..does it matter what the maps say anymore? Guys..ths will be the biggest snowstorm since they started keeping records..ever..IF the models..and they all say basically the same thing..if they are correct: NYC FROM THE NWS: Monday Snow likely before 9am, then snow with widespread blowing snow after 9am. NO..and happy you mentioned this...most will late Monday evening...to noon Tuesday..but it keeps snowing into Wednesday. I would say if you get 30 inches...90 percent falls from 8pm Monday to 2pm Tuesday.
Guys...just keep reading this over and over...and then over...because you will never in your lifetime ever see a forecast like this..and I can promise you NWS has never written one like this...the blizzard of 96 never had such numbers. NOT overhyping...not one bit.
Jay On your website, can you put timestamp on your articles so we know what time you posted that update? Expect crazy traffic tomorrow.
Oh..it will bust for somebody and not trying to just throw that out without an explanation. This storm...we will look at the radar Monday morning and ask where it is..and the boom..off the Atlantic coast it will just fill in..now...if that happens 100 miles north? EGG ON FACE...and somewhere..and I believe those areas that could bust our central jersey on south...could bust...but not likely now.
Thanks for all the updates Jay. Wasn't happy to see your prediction for Bergen County since I am in Fair Lawn. When do think is a good time to go out for Round 1 with the snow blower 2, 3 Tuesday afternoon ?
