Love that he's a Canadian making noise in the NFL. I got to watch him multiple times in the CIS in his first year here...10YPC, 3-4 TDs a game as an 18 year old in a league full of 24 year olds. He's a pre-med student at Yale and is smarter than he is athletic. Would love to see him in an offence like how the Ravens use their FB
In this class I think the best bet would be a UDFA. See very few guys worth investing a draft pick in. Maybe Petty or Grayson would be like 4th - 6th round guys, but they'll be snagged earlier by someone
Note to Mac..Grab the Yalie. All he does is score TDs. Bulla Bulla lol After him, Abdullah is an explosive back the Jets could use.
Might of already been brought up but that corner back from Oregon state looked good. They kept calling him Mighty Mouse. I swear I heard his name on every drive he was on D
If we don't get either FAs Clint Boling or Mike Iupati, then I hope we draft Laken Tomlinson from Duke. Guy reminds me of Larry Warford 2 years ago ---- did very well at Senior Bowl but still went 3rd round.
Yes he did. There are some intriguing CB options, all with their question marks. However, one thing is clear: After Mariota/Winston, I'm not touching a QB in this draft before round 4.
Wasn't that pathetic? It was like a beaten Kyle Wilson finger-wagging "oh no you don't - not against me!" celebration after a QB blew a throw. North RBs looked good. Besides his running, Abdullah's great after catching the ball. The little Yalie pitbull Varga's a beast version of Woodhead and Minnesota's David Cobb might've been the best RB for either team. Nate Orchard showed nice versitility in his transition from DE to OLB, as did David Johnson as both RB and KR. Guards: besides Collins (impressivly flying down the field with the RB on one run), FSU's Tre' Jackson impressed as did Duke's Laken Tomlinson. Pitt's T.J. Clemmings had a shaky game, beaten on both inside and outside moves. CB: TCU's Kevin White. While Nick Marshall has to knock off the rust (when he last played CB at Ga.) and get his coverage skills up to par, the guy's a solid all-around football player, stout in run support and is going to find himself a Sunday roster spot.
I thought so. Might be minor, but that didn't give me a good impression of him. The guy missed a wide open receiver in the end zone. If there's one thing he should be frustrated with, it was his throw.
http://gbnreport.com/star-game-reports/ SHRINE GAME STANDOUTS Posted: January 24, 2015 | 0 comments The 2015 SENIOR BOWL is in the books. I’ve departed Mobile and am in route to Central Florida. Despite a relatively lopsided score the game was competitive for almost a full 3 quarters. For the 17 years I have attended this game today was the most run heavy game I have ever seen for any All-Star game. A group of running backs, with more NFL talent than the QB group, dominated behind some very effective run blocking. Without having all the final stats I will give you the 25 players that passed my eyeball test in this contest.
