Belichick admitted to cheating ( he said "taping" but it was against the rules so it is cheating ) as far back as the year 2000 so anything from that point forward should have an asterisk next to it. Coincidentally that is the year Brady was drafted. I never really talked to much about the cheating before but with this latest incident it is becoming quite evident that the cheating is ingrained in them and I have no doubt there are other rules that they have circumvented and other ones they have outright refused to adhere to for the last 15 years. I may not have examples beyond the taping and the deflation but there is no need, just like a cheating spouse, they don't change and surprise, surprise BB is a cheater in his personal life also. Some will point to some dominant seasons they have had but what other cheating have they done to have an advantage. We don't know how far it goes just that they are cheaters.
I have nothing against Steve Grogan the poster but I couldn't stand Steve Grogan the player- what QB wears a neckroll?
One that is a leading candidate for CTE from getting smashed so many times. lol They were terrible with him as QB... the best version of terrible to that point but still terrible.
You only heard the bolded, underlined and italicized from was Pats fans, numerous people here have posted links to numerous articles which stated the footballs were checked pregame, the leagues statement today confirmed what was previously reported that they were checked pregame. Continue on with your fantasyland scenario of the Pats suing the league though.
Steve, you really need to give up this line of reasoning where you apportion blame on people other than your precious heroes. It's sad. Nobody is buying it. Better to just say that it's a minor offense, if it's ultimately established at all, and own it. Stop tying yourself into knots to implicate others. We all know who the gloves fit on here.
You know it's a minor offense in respect to the game. But as a fan... I consider it a monumental offense. Especially after spy gate. To go through the process of deflating 2 psi out of an inspected ball... that would be a real slap in the face when you weigh the risk-reward as a fan.
You've invested far too much of yourself in rooting for those lowlifes. Those are the breaks. Enjoy the game. I know I would if the shoe were on the other foot.
I live almost adjacent to the 49ers Stadium in Santa Clara and I have NFL Sunday Ticket. But my ex wife is from Syracuse.... and she's a dumb whore.
I'm not sure... she falls on her back on top of beds a lot... so it's probably difficult for her to walk.
