Dilfer had a slow start to his career but helped 2 franchises to playoffs and nearly a 3rd and was vital to their SB run in Baltimore. Notice how many SBs Bal made after letting Dilfer go? QB is NOT about fantasy #s, a Pats fan should know this b/c Brady wasn't a great #s guy when winning SBs.
Didn't Brady throw for like 350+ yards and 3 TD's? In his 2nd SB? I'm not taking anything away from the Pats D back then and I agree the D won the first one. I think Brady had a lot to do with the 2nd one.

Mr. Wells and his firm bring additional expertise and a valuable independent perspective. The investigation began promptly on Sunday night. You know I just looked it up... you're 100% correct. I'm actually surprised that his numbers were that good for that game.
The NFL thinks we're all idiots. And maybe in a way we are cause we'll still watch and some will still spend money. But the popularity is going to take a hit in the coming years. They did it to themselves.
They won SBs w/ clutch QB play and overrated D's. Prior to 2001 no team had ever surrendered a double digit 4th qtr lead in the SB. The "great" Patriots Ds did it in 2001 AND 2003 only to watch Brady rescue them. The difference btw the first 2 SB wins and last 2 SB losses for NE was when the D choked at least they gave Brady time the first 2 SBs. If they gave him more time the last 2 they'd have 5 rings.
Talk about leaving the door open to Walt Anderson error. It's the only explanation that fits the tone of the league, the comments of the patriots including Tom Brady saying that he doesn't "feel" he broke any rules.
I definitely agree with the last line there. The Giants were a better team and literally kicked their ass physically. If you can find a way to win the line of scrimmage you win the game.

This part of the NFL's statement is the clearest example that they are covering-up ... the investigation began "promptly" on Sunday, they interviewed 40 people ... and none of them were Brady? LMAO - That doesn't even pass the laugh test.
