Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi

Tomic and Kyrgios in the 4th round

Not so good on the women's side. Stosur, Tomljanovic, and Dellacqua lost to Americans in the second round.

Gajdosova (Groth) lost in the second round to Halep. She had no shot with that draw.

Madison Keyes with a nice win over #4 seed Petra Kvitova.

Deflategate has even made its way down under to the Australian Open:

MELBOURNE, Australia -- Miami Dolphins minority stake owner Serena Williams was shocked to hear about Deflategate and the allegations that the New England Patriots intentionally under-inflated their footballs to gain an advantage in Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts.

"No way! Allegedly or for real?" she said. When told it probably was for real, she added, "We at the Dolphins, we don't do that."

ATP pro John Isner said there is no Deflategate equivalent in tennis.
"No. That's football," he said. "That's the Patriots. You kind of expect that with them."

Anderson surprisingly doesn't even put up a fight against Nadal. Rolled over and played dead.

Berdych also handling Tomic with ease.

"Like everyone he has the need to go to the toilet but not in the first game of the third set Boris, please." Novak Djokovic did not miss coach Becker slipping out of Rod Laver Arena.

    Isner is a Panthers fan.

Berdych has never won a major right? Would be nice for him to be the "new" guy to win one like Stan was new last year.

Lining up to be a Sharapova/Serena final unless Maria lets this 1 set lead slip away.

yeah Berdych has never won a major

never really been close. You know he's never won because all the majors have been Federer/Nadal/Djokovic, with Murray, del Potro, Wawrinka, and Cilic thrown in.

Before Berdych somehow beat Nadal, he was 0-17 against him, I believe

Sharapova and Serena both rolled tonight

    Berdych hasn't dropped a set.
    Wawrinka has lost one set.
    Djokovic hasn't dropped a set.

Murray went down 5-3 in the first set and seemed helpless against the Berdych serve. He somehow broke back and lost the tiebreaker. But then he won SEVEN STRAIGHT GAMES. 6-0 6-3 7-5 the rest of the way.

Very impressive. He now has an advantage because Djokovic/Wawrinka is usually a battle, as he mentioned in the post-match interview (he also said it was unfair what was made of him playing against someone coached by his ex-coach, and credited Mauresmo tremendously and said it was a brave choice by her to coach him).
