Well, I think you threaded the needle a bit with your logic. You say that if Brady was sticking the needles in balls you'll join the lynch mob. You know he wouldn't be the one physically tampering with the balls. It would be the equipment manager acting on his behalf as all equipment guys do for their players. So thats a bit disingenuous.

The bottom line is if the balls were tested and legal before the game and tested and illegal at halftime, and the Colts balls were legal throughout, someone from the Patriots organization would have tampered with them and the guy that stood to benefit most from that was Brady. He denied any knowledge of this in his Q&A session today and I watched it in full and he sounded like he was lying. Guys like Brunell and Bettis thought he was lying too and said it would be inconceivable for an equipment manager to tamper with the balls without Brady's say so. Brunell looked visibly sad and I understand why. I am a Jet fan, but Tom Brady has been a great quarterback in this league and millions of kids (including my son) look up to him. If he told his equipment managers to lower the PSI of the balls below regulation he should be fined severley and frankly in his late 30's he should consider hanging his cleats up.

Ok. So the equipment staff knows how Tom likes the ball. And words don't have to be spoken. And if his guys don't give him what he wants. They'll just get somebody else who will.

I think part of what you aren't doing is looking at the whole of the situation. The MOB isn't just about this, it's about spygate which most feel was a slap on the wrist and swept under the rug. It's complaints throughout the BB era from opposing teams that the play clocks in Gillette are toyed with. It's about a man who routinely rides the line of what is legal, is often accused of crossing that line and who literally a week ago when accused of such said "read the rulebook" suddenly claiming ignorance. It's about a coach who is known for having his finger on the pulse of EVERYTHING within his organization suddenly saying he had no idea what was going on with the most important piece of equipment under his teams watch. The mob has felt cheated for years while your dipshit owner holds up "the patriot way" and his entire organization is made up of choir boys. Meanwhile with him being so friendly with the commish and the aforementioned slap on the wrist the mob has zero trust in GODell to handle this appropriately. Is this worse then the Ray Rice thing? No, it's not even close. In fact of the varying complaints of gamesmanship and cheating towards the pats this may be the one I find the least atrocious. But Godell in the Ray Rice thing showed just how corrupt and incapable he is. I am tired of having the pats dynasty thrown in my face by a bunch of Massholes when so many things about the patriots are questionable. Giants fans don't brag about Barry Bonds, new England needs to learn from san fran.

I've actually been consistent since like page 3 of this thread or whatever it was. If Brady (or anyone) did anything to alter the ball AFTER the refs approved them... then fine... fine and suspend him or whatever else.

But - if there's no proof. If there's no way to show those balls were perfect beforehand and somehow weren't at halftime... what else beyond speculation is there?

OK Spygate was what... filming the sidelines of another team DURING A GAME? It would be perfectly legal for the patriots to have paid 500 people to watch the sidelines with cartoon artists and all... and would have accomplished the same exact thing.

But you know what... they broke the rules. If it wasn't broken... they wouldn't have had to pay the price. And that was fair. BB was fined heavily and the team lost a huge draft pick and any advantage they could have possibly gained was erased by a factor of about 10,000 with the loss of a first rounder.

Here's what spy gate did NOT mean: Everything else they've ever been accused of. I know many rationalize as to why this is the case... but that's just confirmation bias in overdrive.

First of all, cmon now, none of us like Brady but you can't say Gisele isn't 10000000 times hotter than probably any guy's wife on this board lol! :D (I'm not married so I can say that)

And as for the porn thing, sure most red-blooded males succumb to the temptation at least from time to time (I'll admit I do), but nobody is proud of it, most mature adults try to avoid it as much as possible because it makes you feel like shit afterwards, and only zit-faced adolescent boys will brag about it or talk about it publicly. It is pathetic and immature for Brady to advertise it publicly in a magazine article as if he supports it, especially when he's considered a role model....that's irresponsible and immature.

you are right, spygate doesn't mean they are guilty. But there is enough evidence in their past that they have lost the benefit of the doubt. the arrogance with which they claim the higher moral ground is what fuels a lot of the fire from the haters.

She looks like a malnourish albino mule. Legs are probably more brittle than dry bread and a nose only a mother would love. But in all seriousness there are a ton of Brazilians that shit all over her.

Like one poster said if I had tom Brady like status I wouldn't settle for her no matter how deep her pockets are.

There is so much misinformation in this thread that I can't possibly address all of your BS posts, but at least for this one:

    Jeff Howe @jeffphowe
Oh RT @ScottIsaacs: Colts LB D'Qwell Jackson: "The deal about me saying that I noticed anything about (the football), that's totally false

Payton's punishment was so sever because it involved player safety. If Aikman really believes that, I call BS.

It's all in a QB's head, there is almost no perceivable difference within a few PSI. certainly not enough you could tell in the 5 to 10 seconds at a time a QB touches the ball.

Look, the NFL could have prevented this. They had complaints from at least two teams going into last weekend's games. To me they again are showing they don't know what they're doing. All they can do is defend themselves after the fact.
