Well, it can't be the Patriots organization.

It's GOT to be someone else who benefited more than the Pats going to the Super Bowl.

NFL announced all 12 of the Patriots balls were under-inflated, while none of the Colts balls were.
    it was deliberate.

what official news are you waiting for?

the only thing i'm waiting for is whether they can provide proof this has been ongoing, and was not limited to one game.

It's like waiting for a video of Aaron Hernendez actually commiting murder before you are willing to believe it.

Michael Kay made a pretty good comparison here with Bellichek.

He is the Richard Nixon of NFL coaches...His arrogance led to this, Nixon never needed be behind Watergate, he was going to win. Bellichek's arrogance led to this and he should be punished greatly and never be made to go into the HOF after being a repeat offender

Fuck me up the goat ass before agreeing with Kay, but the arrogance meme is one I've personally touted from forever

I believe they are looking for confirmation from the Doppler 5000 machine outside of Boston showing that the air temperature on the Indy side of the field was 10 degrees warmer than on the Patriot side, resulting in air pressure loss from the Patriots' balls and not the Colts' balls.

The ball boy is a employee of that team not the NFL.

Probably referring to Goodell destroying the tapes from Spygate.

Idk if that's true or not but don't you have to be paid before you can be considered an employee? what do these ball boys get - a t-shirt and an autograph per game? maybe some skittles or ice cream? LOL

ball boy talk is silly in this situation- they are an afterthought

This, I want to know if they did this in an actual close game where a grip advantage can actually be the difference between a win or not like the divisionals against the Ravens.

that weather analysis will become a paragraph report in the Boston Herald that Pats fans will post in every single discussion on the matter following the conviction

I love Patriot fans who are still claiming it was 100% because of the weather. Yes, that explains why it only impacted the Patriots' footballs and not the Colts'. ;)

Probably a payoff involved, good luck tracing it to the Patriots though if this is the case.

for the 37th time in a row

    it. does. not. matter.

if they won 135-0 and broke the rules or 35-34 and broke the rules it makes no difference. They still broke the damn rules.

how about the 2 close games we had against them?
it didn't effect the AFCCG imo, but how many close games has this team won? a lot.. they wouldn't risk doing it if it wasn't advantageous in the past.

if the Colts were suspicious after their regular season meeting, and the history the Pats have with unscrupulous behavior, it is reasonable to think this was not the first ball deflating exercise. just not sure if/how the NFL can prove it.

I already said the punishment should be harsh because the intent is there but I still want to know how many times and what games they've done this.
