Who blamed Tomlin? I saw someone post "How is this worse than what Tomlin did during tripgate?" Who else mentioned Tomlin with blame included.

How many times did we hear that the coach has control of everything on the sidelines, when our conditioning coach tripped the Dolphins player in 2010? If it's happening you better believe Belicheck knows about it.

The whole offense and quite possibly the whole team knew what was going on.

Those are Pats fan canned answers.

If they did it, there MUST have been a reason, no? You don't just do something for shits and giggles that everyone QB acknowledges gives you a better feel for the ball in cold weather, right?

And lets say it didn't really effect the Colts game because it was a blowout.

But what if they've been doing it for all cold weather games.

The Ravens lost by 4 points the week before.

Is that small advantage enough to win by less than one touchdown?

The Colts defense was pathetic ,they wouldn't have won regardless .There was nothing wrong with Andrew Lucks ball ......

I disagree. The Pats was only up 10 at halftime and from what I read that maybe when it happen after halftime.

If I'm a Frito Lay exec, I'm throwing $ at Belichick and appealing to his sardonic sence of humor to do a commercial for Cheetos.
Kind of like Belichick's wry way of giving the middle finger back.

I think so too. That laugh when it was brought to his attention on that radio show seemed very disingenuous. I have a feeling the he's been doing this for a very long time. I was always baffled by how a scrawny average arm prospect coming out of college turned into this strong arm QB in the pros. That normally never happens.

these are just some of the things we know about, things they have been caught at.

who knows how many other Belichick-ean cheating tactics have been employed over the years that haven't been uncovered?

I think it's possible Tom Brady doctors the balls up exactly how he likes them... and for the most part he gets away with it from the refs because he's Tom Brady.

Of course that's wild speculation rooted in nothing but gut feeling of what seems reasonable to me.

What does that have to do with the Ravens game?

Is it not possible that the Patriots blatant disregard for the rules is what propelled them into the AFC Championship game?

Point taken. Then what is your explanation for the NFL not addressing this by now?

It was noticed after the interception before the half. Confirmed during halftime, corrected during halftime, New England goes on a 28-0 run after having the "advantage" removed. Brady plays the second half going 12-14 and two TD's.

Only for comparing punishment. Tomlin directly stepped infront of a player on the field and laughed about it during the game.

The Patriot's played the first half with balls rougly 1.5 PSI below the minimum allowed pressure (at the time of testing, it is a proven fact that pressure drops over time in cooler temperatures than they are first checked, the question is by how much and how quickly).

^ This is obviously extreme conditions, but it is also over the course of 60 minutes, we're looking at roughly 180 minutes for the game in question (from initial check 2h15m before kickoff to halftime).

I'm not even remotely close to an expert on how the weather effects it, I can only present the information I have.

If nothing was done to them "altered" we wouldn't be talking about it. Someone did alter the balls. The who doesn't matter, ball boy, cheerleaders, Brady, Kraft...the blame falls on the coach, the shame falls on the team.

K balls aren't monitored like offense balls.

I have to imagine this is a pattern of conduct and that the Patriots used that tiny advantage to an ill-gotten win.
