If this team has any hope of repeating as EC Champs, they have to be able to shake off an early missed opportunity. It's hockey, very rarely does everything fall your way.

If this team has any hope of repeating as EC Champs, they have to figure out how to beat the Islanders, Bruins, and Lightning. They were able to dodge the Bruins last years. They are going to have to face at least one of them this year.

All fair points, but none of them met this franchise with the level of utter humiliation that Brassard's horrific gaffe did. It is mind-boggling that no discipline was taken for that embarrassment. If I ran that organization, once the whistle had blown that play dead, I would have had a microphone lower down from the rafters for Brassard to give his retirement speech.
