Over the length of his career in the NFL, he has never lasted more than 2 seasons as OC.

Spiller is pure fool's gold. He'll flash here and there, but ultimately he'll get hurt and/or just plain disappoint. He's been teasing and frustrating Bills fans his whole career.

To be fair...that was because he got HC gigs off of his coordinator gigs. He's just one of those guys that it's proven...a FINE OC....horrible HC. I think he's going to work wonders with our team. The best part is he is a true teacher of the game and he WILL put our guys in the best possible positions, based on their strengths, to be successful.

Also, I would LOVE CJ Spiller in Green and white. Cut CJ2K loose and bring this guy in. Ivory, Spiller and Powell would be a FANTASTIC battery!

Now, let's go get a decent F/A QB.

[edit] Actually, do NOT cut CJ2K...bring in Spiller still but let them battle it out. Chris might just blossom under Gailey and his use of screens. Hmmmmm....

Granted, it's not all his fault. But, it's not a track record you want to have.

TRUE! But, I'd rather have him on the Jets for 2 years...he can train some young coach so we have a promotable in house guy then he can go off and try and be HC again somewhere else. And MAYBE he teaches Geno/Simms/FA/draft pick guy to be good...or good again in the FA case. ;)

Not sure bringing Grandpa out of retirement was Bowles best move for OC. I hope Gailey can get this offense going but it's more likely he'll be the first fall guy of the Bowles era than us having a top 10 offense under him. I respect his resume but not sold on the hire..especially with guys like Gase and Kromer available.

What makes you so sold on them? Gailey's got a much better track record, and without a top QB.

Rumors say Chip Kelly may have the Eagles go all in and trade up for Marcus Mariota...

I liked Chan Gailey much better when he was on the Buffalo sideline getting his ass HANDED to him by their current HC.

Yes, cause he was usually hired as a HC after successful stints as an OC. It's not like he was fired (except for KC and that was cause of Haley)

That would be false! Lynch was a beast in Buffalo , he just wore out his welcome with off the field issues. Plus he didn't fit what Gailey/Nix were looking for. To this day I think we were better off trading Jackson instead of Lynch........Lynch/Spiller combo is alot better then FJax/Spiller combo.

I agree. Plus anybody who saw Johnson run this past season seen he still got something left in the tank.
