oh gotcha we are splitting hairs now. you aren't arguing he's a cheating scumbag - you acknowledge this- we are now arguing how he was a cheating scumbag.
Lol. That was a slap on the wrist. Yall have the commish in your front pocket and it will save you again here. Congrats on another tainted title.
Show proof they taped other teams? They were fined $750,000 and lost a 1st round pick for taping other teams. Is it that hard to comprehend that the chances they taped other teams for which no tapes were turned over by the Pats is pretty high? Edit: Belichick has previously admitted to taping signals back to 2000 yet they only turned over 6 tapes in 2008. 6 tapes for 8 years of cheating? Sure sounds like a few tapes went missing or were destroyed by the Pats.
It was cool when the Patriots one the first one, being an afterthought going into that game like the '69 Jets mad, but now when we are looking at the most prolific run by any city (8-12 in Championships, all four major Championships within a tight window), with the 13th attempt on the horizon, it's human nature to start to despise them.
As expected, Jets fans want to believe that there was more to the cheating than pointing the cameras in the wrong direction. I'm just making sure we identify facts vs. fiction, as this applies to the current allegations.
Your bias prior to the conclusion from the commissioner is noted and shall be used against you in future discussions on this topic.
I wonder how much the Pats paid off Matt Walsh to retract his earlier truthful statements? Belli paid off administrative assistants after banging them, it's not a stretch to believe he paid off Walsh to bury the story. Nice pattern your franchise has going there. _
Belichick admitted cheating as far back as 2000, doesn't matter what type of cheating it was, it was simply cheating.
Hahahaaa--"I wasn't cheating on the quiz teach--I was just looking in the wrong direction--from my quiz to someone else's quiz..." _
I'm just trying to clarify fact from fiction. Jets fans on this board have no problem accepting fiction as fact, which isn't surprising.
There's nothing to see here guys regarding the deflated footballs... The Pats just underestimated the amount of air necessary to fill a football. Silly mistake
Actually, taping signals is not illegal, but doing it from the sidelines or anywhere else that is accessible by the coaching staff during the game is. The fact the league had just issued a reinforcement of this rule is what made the transgression so egregious.
Ah, that's right. So it wasn't that they were recording the signals, it's where they were recording the signals from. If they had been doing it from a box, they would have been in the clear. Thanks for clarifying it.
They were obviously cheating, what are you talking about? While his correction does hurt the argument as to the effect of the cheating, I've never said nor will say they didn't cheat.
