The patriots have a tendency to cheat, but when you start claiming a fan running onto the field in a 1961 game and drafting Hernandez as evidence you start losing credibility. Let's focus on the actual ways the organization cheated, and not claim every little thing is cheating, takes away from the point of the issue.
Just as stupid not just as bad. Woody statements didn't carry to the field or effect a game being played.
I'm not taking up for the Pats but there no way they would had known Hernandez would had become a alleged murderer.
This team has clearly been the best in the NFL over the past fifteen years with Belichick one of the league's best coaches ever and Brady one of the best QBs. However, this franchise has shown time and time again that they will attempt to bend or break rules and find any loophole in the rules possible to get an advantage. That's the kind of team this is. I would bet they do things like this more than we know
Can we add Brady cheating on his pregnant girlfriend with his current loud mouthed skank and bellichump cheating on his wife with his secretary to the list as well? Scumbags on and off the field.
The Hernandez thing falls in line with what they are as an organization, since there were a lot of questions about him coming out of college, and the writing was on the wall. It is an example of a mind set that welcomes and advances the on-the-field cheating that you seem to be limiting this thread to. As for the fan coming out of the stands, my understanding is that this was not the first time it happened, and the Patriots management did nothing to stop fans from crowding the end zone. The fan interference was blatant (he deflected the last pass of the game) and it was the Patriots. Do you know of any examples of a "12th man" coming onto the field to directly affect the outcome of the game (on other teams). In this thread alone, we've seen it TWICE (snow plow game & this). Sorry, this thread is called "NE football, a history of cheating" I think both these examples are well-placed, especially for those who think that the organization only started cheating in 2001.
Didn't BB cheat on his wife with a mistress in NJ, or something like that? http://nypost.com/2007/02/25/sugar-daddy-belichick/ It's the Post so it must be fake.
It's not surprising. Look at who runs that organization. A man who signed a $1M contract only to re neg on the deal and walk out on the team not fulfilling his end of the contract, a man who cheated on his wife, a man who was caught stealing signals and did so even after the league told everyone to stop and an owner who only a few months after his wife died had a new girlfriend that he was prancing around. (not for nothing, but if my wife died it would be a long time before I started dating again). True scum in that organization.
I was explaining spygate to my ten year old cousin to brainwash her into hating them and she couldn't stop laughing because she thought I was making it all up. That's how ridiculous that shit is
