My point is that the NFL appointed ball attendant would notify the referees if he saw a Patriots employee take a ball and let the air out. Additionally, there are 12 balls so they would have to either get lucky that the attendant gave the ref the right ball or spend a significant amount of time letting air out of the ball and somehow not be noticed by the attendant. The rule is that if there are any discrepancies with the ball, the commissioner has to be informed. I believe this is the "investigation" that is being reported.
More of the "genius" of Belicheck Not that I think it made a difference it the outcome, Colts sucked yesterday, they could've played 8 quarters and they wouldnt have got to 45 points. But if this turns out to be true its right up there with Spygate. And if that only garnered a fine this should be a BB suspension AND a 1st round draft pick forfeit.
Blah blah blah, excuses, excuses, same old Pats fan rhetoric. By the way , how do you defend how your classless team runs up the score repeatedly. It would have served the Pats right for Brady to have been injured on that long pass to Lafell with a 38 point lead and something like 6 minutes left in the game. I'm sorry, but your coach is the king of the assholes.
What have I said that was rhetoric? I'm talking facts and you bring this load of bull shit to the table.
You people are all losers and full of crap. Luck's passer rating was 23 for the game; not even High School. Belichick arranged the wind and the rain, too. Take up something else to occupy yourselves, drinking! You spend more time against teams than you do for football. The great Seahawks quarterback rating was zero at halftime...ZERO! NFL Ghetto football.
What is this? It's a combination of non-related thoughts put into poem form. This adds nothing to the discussion.
No attendants reported the balls feeling flat, so one would have to assume that the Patriots player who touches the ball on every single down did the deflating: their center. Plenty of places on a football uniform to hide an air pin.
This post is funny since it reads like you're still drunk from last night, which only serves to amplify your normal level of stupid.
You are implying that this happened by the C pre-snap? You realize that there is a referee whose job is to look at the football/line. I'm sure if RL was putting a pin in the ball, the ref would have seen. This might be one of the stupidest posts in this thread, which is saying something.
It only seems stupid to you because you can't look at it, or any argument about the Pats, objectively. You could probably see a picture of the Pats center deflating the ball and would still explain it away.
1) It is irrelevant whether the Patriots won by 100 or lost by 100. Tampering with a football is illegal by the rulebook. 2) We don't really know anything right now, so speculating is pretty much meaningless. Let's just see how this plays out. 3) No matter what, this won't be settled until after the Super Bowl, IMO. Draft picks could be taken away but I doubt it. You would have to prove that the Patriots actually intentionally tampered with the football... that will be quite hard without video evidence.
By that argument, neither can you look at anything Patriots related objectively. Your statement was moronic and reflects poorly on responsible Jet fans.
Can anyone document the exact steps the footballs go through during the course of a game to help understand how this could have possibly happened? Who knows if it did or didn't, we'll leave it to the NFL investigation to handle that.
