Awesome win tonight. This was bigger than the Ranger game. Nassau Coliseum has once again turned into Fort Never Lose. Its like the early 1980's all over again.

what a difference when guys go to the front of the net, it's not an easy place to play but kyle earned his goals. That's why I miss Moulson, he always played in front.

Im more impressed by how the defense handled the pens pressure at the end of the game, they stayed physical and disciplined.

Montreal is the one team I don't want the Isles to face in the playoffs. For whatever reason they are a bad matchup for us. Anyway regroup and kick the Flyers ass on Monday.

The habs counter with so much speed its not even funny, if the isles want to beat them, they have to slow the game down and bottle up the NZ. Make them dump and chase and work for the pucks in the corner, we have the big boys in defense to play that type of game also.

If they try to play a wide open game against them, it's impossible to win, because the habs have always put together a team to play those type of games.

Rangers outspeeded them in the playoffs last year, but they are much better this year, Isles can pound them though, not a strong team by any means

I do remember that series, I thought the Rangers did a great job making them pay for their aggressive attack, I agree with you about the Habs this year, they are deeper, still not as big.

I wonder if they will ever make the adjustment to being a big team, most of the contenders don't have small players anymore, it's the way of the future.

Bruins changed that a few years ago , big and tough, but lately its been a transition to speed and goaltending...RM have to laugh at Halak and Fleury being mentioned in the same sentence as Allstars, Halak is well deserved and a perfect example of Fleury was yesterday vs the Rangers 4 goals in 17 shots in 25 minutes and 1 benching, they will never win anything with that piece of crap in net, so I hope he stays there forever!

RM, another big game for Crosby, one knee on knee hit on Kevin Klein, 3 dives and 3 tantrums...what a bitch...

It makes me puke to see how much love Cindy gets, I give him credit for his offensive skill, but that's all he has, he is a one dimensional player. He is also dirty, he can't take on the big guys but the guys that are same stature as he, he cheap shots those players.

I only root against one team and that's Pitt. They can't lose enough for me, if they were perpetual bottom dwellers I would be a very happy fan.

The worst part about him is that he isn't man enough to finish what he starts. PK Subban might dive and be chippy, but when he starts shit he finishes it. Crosby has to rely on goons to defend him while he runs away. Pens fans usually ignore this.

How does the rivalry work on hockey? Only league I follow is NFL and only team I follow closely is Jets. Naturally I don't like Giants but don't hate them either. Is there any bad blood between New York area teams? In NBA, NHL and MLB I will root for any New York team regardless. Are Islanders for real? I really want a New York team win a championship except Giants. Since Yankees won it back in 2009 no championship for any New York team besides Giants.

I am looking at Boston and I am jealous. Since my company moved me to USA in 2004, I have seen Boston teams win in NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and MLS. Seriously tired of Boston teams winning all those championships. Seriously I sometimes think if we had an office in Boston and my company moved me to Boston, I would root for Boston teams and see tons of championships. Well enough with my story. Any hope for Islanders? I was surprised when I saw the NHL standings on New York Times today. Good job Islanders.
