New England won this conference by default. I think the window is finally opening for a few teams to jump in the picture as I could see Cincy, Indy, and Denver missing the playoffs next year.
we finished 4-12 and they beat us by what in two games? 3 points? But you have to be amazed at how they put points on the board. Having Brady makes a ton of difference over a lot of teams.
That's a credit to Rex ,Who knows how Bowles is gonna do against the Pats.Rex always had us ready for New England and it was always close.I just hope Bowles can get it done
Colts are going to be around a long time as long as Luck is there...Its like the old Colts. Nothing is wide open in the NFL. AFC East will get tougher too...But all you need to do is make the playoffs and you have a shot to play at your best
Why is that? Did Brady, Gronk , and Bellicheat retire of something? Did you watch what they did to the Colts today? I want to beat those guys as much as anyone but don't think it will be easy.
A QB could make that happen, sadly, it doesn't look like that type of QB will be available this off season.
I'll be pretty surprised if we aren't dog shit next year. I'm thinkin 6-10 on deck. Maybe a little better if there's a FA haul and some draft picks contribute.
Another well thought out thread, AFC is wide open? Are the Patriots moving to the NFC? And whose our QB again?
How were they lucky? Pats schedule was brutal this year. They beat almost every division leader by 20+ points, at home and on the road.
The AFC will be wide open when Brady retires. We'll be nowhere near good enough to mount a challenge for the division next year unless we luck out in the draft/FA.
The Pats offense: someone is always open and Brady is basically untouched. That always works. They do a lot of picking and such. But the real key is how consistent he is. And he is pretty accurate. And he has been running that offense for years. It will be curious to see if Seattle can pressure him like they did Manning. They could not get after a crippled Aaron Rodgers. The Pats improved this year. I think next year will be pretty dreary, contention-wise.
