Social Media has become the new platform these days. Talk on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc..... with your pals. Any subjects. Open chats, etc. However, nothing is like talking football on a messageboard and specifically: THIS ONE. I really do enjoy it. Just thought I would make this quick thread to thank Petrozza and each and every one of you for making it fun. I have been a member since 2004 and a lot has gone on since. (With the Jets, my life, and the world in general) Through it all, I enjoy coming here the most to talk about football. Still fun 11 years later.. The last couple seasons have been rough and turned me off talking football, sadly, so it was nice this week when everything changed. Breath of fresh air. Damn right TDK! Nothing like TGG to call me my e-home... I feel like we have a great forum and great members to talk about all sorts of things. Even good old pictures of you with a bowl haircut holding ice cream cones smiling for the camera I remember that was "trending" around these parts back then.
Same here. TGG has been an important part of my life. It is the first place I visit when I get online. Say I am boarding a plane. It is the last site I browse on my iphone before I put it on airplane mode. It is also the first site I open when plane lands. Not much of a social website user. I have facebook but I barely log onto it. No twitter or instagram or whatever. Just TGG. Thanks to Petro for making this site an awesome one. Now one complaint from the users. I hate it when people attack others who try to express their opinion. Everybody has an opinion. That guy having that opinion doesn't make him a moron or retarted or whatever. Respect all the opinions. Make this place more user friendly and safe heaven for folks to be able express their opinions without being insulted or attacked. Last word. Long live TGG. You are an awesome website.
You don't need any of those other crap social media sites. TGG is better than all of that easily. The drama is sometimes the same, but the content is so much better. What do you care about more? Your high school friend being mad at traffic on facebook? Your co-worker's baby on instagram? Or talking JETS football? Exactly. Long live TGG! I don't know what I would do without it. Best football forum on the web, and it's not close...

I think I hit 11 years recently and nearly every day of those last 11 has involved visiting this place.
For me, this world traveler guy has been the only person I saw in person. Barry was kind enough to meet with me at Vegas and give a few pointers about hookers.
I remember myself and Green Guy (rest his soul) came over here from the old Jets official forum. That was back I think in 2000. Doesn't seem like it but its going on 15 years for me around here. I still love coming here and chatting with my ebuds about almost anything. I'd like to thank our posters who make this site what it is. Without great posters, you don't have a great site. You guys make my job easier as most of you generally are polite, classy people. Even when buzzed. Just a shout out to all the posters who no longer post here for whatever reason.
