Teams that WANT someone actually offer them the job. They don't leave the guy waiting. It's clear that Atlanta wasn't sure on him and liked Quinn as much or more.

you know Atlanta was bringing him back, right? are you saying we didn't want Bowles? we didn't offer after 1st interview, are you saying Buf didn't want Rex? they didn't offer after 1st interview.

I get it belive me I do...I dispise the winter with a passion its fkin dreadful.I'm a beach ,boat, fishing, diving, outdoors kind of person and the winter is miserable for me.But with that said he isn't even there top candidate for the OC job .He may have killed his coaching carrer and end up getting blackballed for a few years....So the 4 mill he ran away with could have been triple that had he stayed instead of being a pussy and ended up winning.

What I'm saying is that you can't say they definitely wanted him unless he is offered the job. When the Falcons knew Rex was getting a 2nd interview with the Bills, why didn't the Falcons call him right back for a 2nd interview if they were so hot for him?

The Falcons weren't ready to jump yet for him.

why would they bring him back for a 2nd interview if they didn't definitely want him? Blank was busy w/ the death of his mother and Buf swooped in and blew him away.

If I'm Quinn and I'm the last man standing, I am asking for a 7-year contract or a 5-year deal at $6 MM/year.

If Blank and the Falcons say NO, they have NOBODY.

Bigtime.....I don't think he's ever going to get another HC job in the NFL.

    He's like Jim Riggeleman.

Rex said today on Mike n Mike that this is his last coaching job...I found that weird that he would say that....I've never heard a coach say that.

I think so, I don't think you want to rush into a coach. They wanted to bring Rex back for a second interview but somehow that peeved Rex that he didn't win them over in one interview from reports.

But I think that's smart, you need time to analyze how a coach will fit into your team and culture. And it's even more smart when you have a capable QB and you don't want. I always lean on the cautious approach when hiring a coach. If there is any doubt, bring them back again for an interview, don't make a move to try and keep someone from a team.

So in your typically broken English you say you know nothing about Quinn but then claim there are red flags about him? You make no sense boy.

    Actually it makes perfect sense.

Your fail perception has failed you once again.

Interesting analogy. Care to elaborate on the commonalities?

Pure speculation here, but the timing of the Jets turn from Quinn to Boyles coincided with the announcement of Fox leaving the Broncos. That leads me to believe Quinn wants to be in Denver and the Jets knew that. Do the Falcons?

Hell, even Rex doesn't know what will come out of his mouth next. A guarantee or a toe nail, who knows?

Rex is a think positive type of guy, he goes into it thinking he'll be there for 10+ years, he doesn't go in thinking about failure.

He stated a team didnt want him because the team didnt offer the job. Umm no, thats not how it works.

I guess the Raiders didnt want Jim Harbaugh because they didnt offer him the job......
