Can someone explain to me why Derek Brasard is still on the roster this morning, or at the least has not been fined and suspended by the New York Rangers?
Isn't that reason enough to remove him from this team? His very presence is a morale killer for every fan and player on the team.
He is an embarrassment to the franchise and the entire organization. When he hit the the post on that wide open net, they should have put a spotlight on him, lowered a microphone from the rafters and let him give his retirement speech. Get him off this team before it is too late.

So again, answer my question: WHY is he playing tonight? Why was he not at least suspended, fined, scratched? Why was no action whatsoever taken? And why do you have no issue with this?
You do realize the defenseman held his stick down, so he couldn't follow through on his shot? It happens. What about players who take bad penalties whe their on PP and waste the man advantage? It's hockey, I bet this will not be the weirdest thing you see all year.
Oh stop it. There was incidental contact at best. Nash had two men all over him, and hit the post. I don't know how Brassard can look in the mirror and call himself a professional hockey player after that embarrassment. I could not care less about the Dallas Stars.
I'm not funny, I am angry. In 30 years of supporting this team, that was without a doubt the single most embarrassing moment I have ever experienced as a fan. I can only imagine what dejection that brought into the locker room. There is no room for that level of incompetence on this team. get him out of here.
