    These guys almost never know what's actually going on. They're paid to stir the pot and get hits for their sites and that's what they do. Being quiet and being right is much, much worse than being loud and being wrong in that profession.

    Would rather have Bowles anyways. Quinn walked into one of the best defenses in a long time. His players make his system more than his coaching imo.

    Both are great coaches. Not worth looking back now, though.

    Probably damage control on Quinn's part, but either way it's irrelevant news for the Jets at this point.

    I think what shut down Manning was being 39 years old and injured. Guys were open. His throws were horrendous all day. I believe any of the teams playing that weekend would have gone into Denver and won that game.

    While there are many mixed reports, something tells me this is true.

    The Jets got word that Quinn wanted Falcons job. They immediately jumped to plan B and called Bowles in. He left with a 4 year deal.

    This guy is the same guy who made up the story of Geno missing the last meeting of the year then couldn't take the heat of being called out. He's on Manish Mehta's level as far as horrible reporting.

    its easy to make reports now that the jets hired a different coach..if they hired dan quinn they would have said "BOWELS DIDNT WANT JETS JOB"

    I would bet that if Quinn's season was over hed be the coach of the Jets right now.

    If Atlanta hires a coach before the Hawks season is over they'll be a report saying he wanted the Broncos job since Fox was canned.

    It's all bullshit and speculation until the pen hits the paper.

    He has his work cut out for him though going from the best D in the league to the worst. Good luck
