@RichCimini Hearing that Todd Bowles' four-year will be at least $16 million. Chan Gailey, out of football last 2 yrs, will be his OC, per source. #nyj Guy has a great body of work: Gailey was the offensive coordinator for the Dolphins from 200-2001. In that time, he finished both years with 11-5 records. From 1994-1997 he was offensive coordinator for the Steelers where he won 4 consecutive AFC Central titles, coaching in one Super Bowl.
I'm not gonna knock this move until I see it play out. I'm done pretending I know what the fuck to look for in an OC
ROTFLMAO Chan Gailey? Jets ownership proves once again that it doesn't have a freaking clue how to build a champion (HINT: Hire former champions; pay them whatever they want).
The club hires a new coach and some posters are already deciding it's a failure. Few of us have ever coached higher than Pee-wee and we are experts. Chan Gailey or whoever they choose as an assistant coach knows so much more about football than any of us. The only thing I know is that you win with players and I have no doubt that Bowles, Gailey and even Rex would agree with that.
He does have a history of making average QB's look good. I would like to know why he has been out of football the last couple years though.
