I agree. I never said give up Dp's or a truckload of cash. Buffalo has neither. It will all depend on if ChiTown cuts him first. With his contract, I'm not so sure that's gonna happen. Dead money could be the issue with that..

I hate to say this but the reason you can take a chance on Bradford is because Geno is here. There's no doubt Bradford would start in that scenario. Simultaneously Geno is still young, still has talent, and would benefit from riding the bench while not being completely lost if he needed to get on the field. I think if the opportunity to get Bradford at a reasonable cost presents itself, it's worth the risk to try.
If we have to pick someone who will actually be available... Moore is my choice. Solid player, smart, affordable and most important... available. No dp's, no huge contact.
I don't want a hold the fort qb. If we see going to trade for a guy it should be someone with long term potential. If we are going to start some vet jag it should only be until we are out of playoff contention. I am tired of hoping to have a qb we might win with. We need to keep moving towards the qb who wins for us. If that means more 6-10 seasons and less wildcard appearances, so be it
as a stopgap Moore would be fine, if we think we can be a playoff team(and remember, it's likely there will be a 3rd WC team added next year) then I would look elsewhere.

amazes me after recent history and the obvious hole on our team guys would rather have Sam the ACL Bradford or a rookie who has a much better chance of busting than not. gluttons for punishment i tell ya.
