    Looks like this might be happening.

    @DarrylSlater
    Jets move in front of Falcons, in the order of Todd Bowles' second interviews, source says. Big advantage for Jets?

    @BrianCostello
    Todd Bowles interview with the Jets has been moved up to later today. #nyj.

    @RichCimini
    Jets HC candidate Todd Bowles will meet with Mike Maccagnan when he arrives in NJ tonight for 2nd interview, per source. #nyj

    Can't say I blame them for not waiting on Quinn. Would be one helluva gamble waiting until after the SB to name a HC. By then, all the top coordinator candidate will be taken and Quinn would have to have had a wink/nod downlow agreement with some of them.

    Very entertaining off season to say the least.

    The most interesting thing is moving the interview up. It was scheduled for tomorrow.

    Apparently, Atlanta was set to offer him a job. He decided to take the Jets second interview before Atlanta and then it was moved up. Makes you think something is in the works.

    Denver must scare us for Quinn. If the following happened... Del Rio to Oak, Gase to SF, Bowles to ATL, Quinn to ATL we'd be left with nothing but Marrone.

    As long as we bring in a competent offensive mind, I'm all for it. I really don't like the fact that he runs a defense that relies more on blitzing than Rex's did.

    There was supposed to be a question mark at the end.

    ...or he could be applying the pressure on Atlanta to make a move.

    No Problem, I changed Title....I think it's appropriate, since we are beating Atlanta to the second interview and he could get the job tonight.

    Man, I want Quinn...But if there is no under the table handshake with Quinn then its impossible to predict.

    Not to mention the fucking agents he has who won't get back to Quinn

    I've got a buddy who is a die hard cardinals fan, and he always tells me bowles completely changed the culture on defense the minute he got there and the players absolutely loved playing for him. I saw somebody posted this on another thread but I found it to be so spot on, he gets the players to play for him, he isn't a hard ass like marrone but not a pushover like Rex. Good in between

    Would love this hire, he runs a very aggressive attacking style of defense, make it happen.

    From everything I've heard about Bowles, I'd be very comfortable with him as the next Jets HC.

    Poker game going on right now - I'll believe we have a HC when I see a confirmation from a legit source.

    Geez, if Quinn is our guy then why not wait. If it ends up being Bowles i would be happy. Either way, if it's one of these two then we did well .

    If he is hired, I hope he hires a competent DC, if he is going to run the defense and be the HC like rex was, I want no part of him, we need a guy who can manage his coaches as well as the game as it is unfolding.

    The thing is, no one knows if Quinn is really our guy or not. If him and Bowles are neck and neck, it makes sense to snatch Bowles and not risk waiting until after the Superbowl and possibly losing out on several of our other top choices.
