I think all the pro REX, " he is going to come back and turn Sanchez into an all pro, and win the VLT " people should sign off of this board, burn your Jets stuff and become a Bills fan. Rex is gone, time for a new way of doing things. Get over it, we have sucked for the last 4 years.

You have to clean house. Dunbar was part of the laid back Rex crew.
I liked him, but we're moving in a new direction, with new leadership and hopefully a new attitude toward the game.

I actually cannot see why Schwartz would want to stay. He and Rex do not see eye t eye on defense. And he has been an HC and a DC for years.

Maybe the Rexies will follow him to another (Bills) board. He was played out here for years.

His contract expires at the end of the month, but I remember Woody saying in a press conference that all of the coaches are free to interview with any other team, including interviewing to stay with the Jets.

When the Jets get to interview Quinn again, before the Super Bowl, they can ask him if it's alright to re-sign Dunbar ASAP. If we waited until we could officially hire Quinn, it will probably be too late.

Rex will probably want to bring over Dunbar, but he might prefer to keep whoever their current d-line coach is since that guy already knows the players and has worked with them for awhile. Dunbar might want to go to be with Rex, and the Bills have a great d-line that he'd love to coach.

On the other hand, if we do offer him a contract in time I think he will stay. First, he'll get to stay with his d-line, which is also great. His family will also be happy about not having to move, and that's a significant consideration. And although our weather isn't very good, Buffalo's weather is horrible.

Ultimately, I think the Jets need to move fast and get him a new contract before he leaves. Hopefully that happens, because it would be a shame to lose such a great coach.

Run different defenses. Why would Schwartz wanna be Rex's lackey like DT?

Mo retweeted an article stating why the Jets should keep Dunbar. I guess we know his opinion on the matter. Would not shock me at all if he played out his contract and bolted for Buffalo after this season. Can we franchise tag him? We may have to just to keep him.
