Football Perspective @fbgchase 14s14 seconds ago Looks like Manning may finish with 3.8 Y/A. Would be the worst from him in a game since his rookie year. Sad, but he looks done. Done. Built a team around a QB coming off a neck surgery bought them a 3 year window it seems. Year 1: Bad luck, lost on a Hail Mary. Year 2: Offense was great, everything else was bad. Year 3: QB got old quick, offense couldn't adjust, defensive pass rushers no show.
Agreed. And I believe the "choking " narrative is overblown and is a simplistic way of looking at the game. But that is the narrative /storymthe Manning haters will use..
What a fail. AND guys like skip bayless who sad indy should have held on to him and not draft luck. Wtf hahha.
Choking is when he threw the pick 6 to Law or the pick 6 in the SB. This is just physically not being able to be himself.
Colts have to be the luckyst franchise to draft Peyton then have one horrible year after a decade of greatness and be able to Draft Luck ,meanwhile we get stuck with assholes like Geno and Sanchez
Ware was a big bust for them. Talib was decent but no better than Dominique Cro from last year. Their big D spending didn't pay off.
This will be great for us if true,One less guranteed playoff spot in the AFC,I for one hope he retires
what I want to know is what's up with Ware, Knighton, and Miller? They were as worthless today as Manning
I was surprised, they no showed big time. I thought they would have some impact, but nothing really. Maybe Luck just didn't show it, but they seemed like they had no impact.
