I doubt Marrone would take an Asst. Coach job with the Jets. Esp. not a Coordinator. If he doesn't get an NFL job he could go back to NCAAF. Not sure there are any good college jobs available for 2015. Most jobs have been filled.

Hey now, I didn't say all that. ALL I was doing having fun with the whole situation with GM before coach, coach before GM. I guess stuff like that doesn't translate well to the internet. Especially when everybody is being so dang serious about this stuff, Yeesh.

Add to the CB situation a coach that couldn't actually "coach" QB's that were fundamentally broken and anything else you care to

 

It's crazy how serious people are around here. Like this shit is more then just a game to some people it's pretty hilarious

 

He can wait for next year's NCAAF coaching carousel. Amazingly enough the Bills gave Marrone a contract where he could quit and still be paid, so he'll get $4 million next year regardless of whether or not he's employed.

The Jets fired Ryan. You think most Jets fans with half a brain care that he got another job? It was pretty inevitable, wasn't it? Who cares? It's not like the Bills hired him away. Mangini was hired by the Browns days after the Jets fired him. How much sleep did Jets fans lose after that ? Jump off a bridge? I don't think so. Ryan without an offense is pretty useless.

 

Just off pictures of him alone he already looks more competent then John Idzik

And its not like the Mangini situation at all. Pretty much the entire fanbase wanted him gone and he went to the Browns. Not the Bills or Fins. A good chunk of the fanbase didnt want Rex to be fired, and he went to a division rival. You cant see how there is a difference?

Not only is he from NJ, he is from Morristown.

Idzik is a perfectly competent cap guru, but a bad GM. The simple fact that he went to Dartmouth doesn't make Idzik a competent GM.
