We can't start projecting Quinn yet because he's the hottest candidate out there and he can't make a commitment to us at this point.

What if Atlanta blows him away with an offer after the Seahawks season ends?

does that offense even USE a fb? if i remember correctly they like hybrid h back tight end types who can line up on the end of line of scrimmage and in the backfield as well as able to catch the ball.

if i am correct about that john conner doesnt make any sense, which makes me wonder about your entire list and whether you have any idea what you are talking about.

I am worried about SF. they must not want to give Fangio the job. They might be waiting for Gase. If all of these teams sit on their hands for a few more weeks none of us will have hair left.

The fact that you questioned whether I knew what I was talking about before you knew what you were talking about kind of makes you look like a douche. I understand questioning opinions but there are ways to do so without coming off like a douche.
If that's the case it changes absolutely nothing about this thread, since it's purely a hypothetical. The point of this is just a conversation, I don't think anyone is dumb enough that they need it pointed out that Dan Quinn may not come here at all.

what makes you guys so sure Quinn will want to run a 4-3?
his background before Seattle had a ton of 3-4 influence, and our existing players are better suited for that.
i think he's the type of coach who will scheme based on personnel, and run hybrid fronts, similar to Rex.

I'm not sure at all but considering the immense success he had with the basic 4-3 I'd guess that's what he's going for. He may do some multiple fronts or even more 3-4, but if I'm guessing I'd say the 4-3 is more likely

He does some 3-4, and some for 4-3 and 4-2-5

If Peyton retires, then Broncos could blow it up and Julian Thomas and Demarrius Thomas could leave Denver

I think another guy who could be a Jet in 2015 is Byron Maxwell if Quinn is here.

the first two have been locked up by the hawks. basically the exodus from seattle to NYNJ is down to OLB Malcolm smith and Maxwell, unless THEY get re-signed while nobodies looking.

I wouldn't let Powell walk. I would also keep Ken Ellis.

I'd cut CJ NO K and that leaves us with just Ivory. Unless we're drafting a RB...

Bring me Demaryius/Dez (cut Percy), bring me Byron Maxwell, bring me Malcolm Smith, bring me Devin McCourty, bring me a guard, and then bring me some depth.

I am curious. If Peyton retires, Thomas may hit the market.

If the Jets cut Percy, CJ, Pace and Babin according to over the cap they are up to 68,500,074 in cap space. I think if you take away $15 million for the draft, raises and workout money, they will will have a significant amount. I wouldn't see why they could sign the 4 players I listed above and then build up depth with some secondary level younger players. I cant say that that is 100% right because I do not totally understand NFL contracts.

Where did he run a 3-4? Was that @ UFlorida, because he ran a 4-3 with Herm
