    There's a lot wrong. We need playmakers. And the OL is OK. Just add a guard in FA. That is where the value is.
    I know the Cowboys OL rebuild is the flavor of the month. But they had Romo, Dez, Witten, Murray. We don't.
    And we also need a defense playmaker, a pass rusher

    As others have mentioned, it depends on who the new regime consists of and what happens with free agency.

    It's hard not to like Amari Cooper at 6. Offensive line should definitely be a strong consideration too with Scherff, Peat and Stanely likely to be available. Could also go with a pass-rusher like Ray or Gregory too, although I might not mind breaking the bank for Justin Houston if he hits the market or even Brian Orakpo on a 1yr

    In the second, could probably also get a solid OT prospect. ILBs McKinney and Perryman could be in play too and if they don't want to retain Harris, these should be favorites. I'd also be excited with a runner like Duke Johnson assuming CJ is cut. At this point, it seems like the value/talent combo at WR is better at #6 than in the 2nd. Not many names excite me at the latter. I suppose it could also be a spot for QB, but I'm very skeptical of any there.

    Uh check how many of the Cowboys offensive lineman are all-pro. Apparently you don't watch any Cowboy games if you think this. What if you can't add a premier guard? What about the right tackle position? There are plenty of holes in the offensive line. Great idea, let's not draft any o-lineman

    lmao flavor of the month - how funny is that one

    Draft oline, not in first round with 6th pick. Two of top salaries for next yr are Brick and Breno, no way they draft another tackle in first round.

    What!? Breno counts $5,125,000 against the cap. Both Brick and Mangold make more. Clearly you are talking out of your ass. If the top tier prospects (Gregory, Cooper, Winston) are off the board - don't be surprised if the Jets draft an o-lineman. Offensive line is aging and the RT, RG, LG are in need of a major upgrade.

    +1

    Anyone who thinks the O-Line doesn't need to be addressed with a possible 1st Rd pick, depending on who is available, is kidding themselves.

    I agree we need play makers, but except for Cooper, at this time anyone else would be a severe reach.

    I think all this talk is premature and some people need to relax and let things play out with Free Agency and our new GM.

    What. Look at Cimini's article today. Brick #1 salary, Breno #7. I said two OF top. Not two top.
    NO way you take another tackle. Period. Can address OL later in draft. Not with 6th pick overall

    Breno stays for a year because we guaranteed half of his salary for this year. After that he can be cut loose.

    If Brick has a future on this team it will be at left guard. His play has deteriorated and he gets beat too often on the outside. In a couple years he will cost us $12 mil against the cap.

    There does not seem to be much of a consensus on the pecking order among the tackle prospects but I would not be surprised if we took one early.

    *Realistic picks. Gordon will be a first rounder, and DGB or Gurley shouldn't even be drafted in the 2nd

    Nothing can be predicted until:
    The GM is in place;
    The coach is in place;
    The talent scout (Bradway?) understands the needs and goals of what the GM/coach are looking to accomplish;
    What players are cut/re-signed before the draft;
    What free agents are signed before the draft;

    It's all a crap-shoot...until about 2 weeks before the draft when rumors start to fly. That being said, I wouldn't take an OL
    with the 6th pick considering they're lack & need for an impact skill position player.

    Early, yes, not 1st rd. Why go for depth when you need CB, WR, LB, QB

    You can take an OT on the 6 if that's the best player. Brick and Breno have an NFL life expectancy of under 2 years each at this point. It would be nice if one of them becomes the rare player who makes it out to 35 but odds are against either lasting that long.

    Taking the best Tackle in the draft is never ----ever a bad move- I don't care what anyone has to say. Especially if they are BPA -- It is a lot easier to miss on a Pass Rusher than miss on the best Tackle/O line men.--- we should be picking BPA at 6 hands down. but if it is close-- I say go o line. --some good OLB in FA this year too

    1. Tampa Bay - QB or OL (nasty front 7, dang good WRs) -- Jameis Winston
    2. Tennessee - QB or Pass Rusher -- Randy Gregory
    3. Jacksonville Jaguars - OL or DB (again... nasty front 7, lots of good young WR, 2nd year QB, Joeckel not panning out and injured) -- Brandon Scherff
    4. Oakland Raiders - WR or DL (Depends on what they don't spend money on in Free agency. I think the will go after Suh + J. Hughes + Cobb/Maclin/Shorts/Crabtree) -- Amari Cooper
    5. Washington Redskins - QB or DB or DL or WR or OLB (huge wild card here. Could pick just about any of the "top" prospects, might be scared by RGIII exp) -- Shane Ray
    6. New York Jets - OL or OLB or QB or WR

    Do you take Mariota?

    2nd round targets:
    OL Cameron Irving FSU,
    ILB Paul Dawson TCU (one of my favorites in this draft),
    OLB OO UCLA,
    OG Josue Matias FSU

    No Leonard Williams (DE/DT - USC)? I think the Raiders take him at 4, and we take Cooper at 6.

    Yeah, like I said it depends on what they spend their money on. I saw a few Raiders games and their biggest weaknesses are definitely at DL and WR. I actually think Williams is overrated and the Raiders have over $50 million in cap room. I think they back up the Brinks for Suh (just seems like a perfect fit) and they desperately need someone for Carr to go to. They could outside chance take an OT if they like one well enough, but I think Cooper is the clear pick for them. JMO.

    Suh more than likely is going to NY, to potentially play for the Giants I think. Also, I believe the Raiders could still get a really good receiver with their 2nd rounder.

    Not disagreeing with your assessment btw - just really hoping Cooper falls to 6.

    The teams greatest needs are Oline, CB, QB, and LB.

    With the first pick we should focus on the oline. There are three guys we should target; Brandon Scherff, Andrus Peat, and Ronnie Stanley. Preferably we get Scherff in the first.

    Moving into the second round the focus should shift to a strong corner. If we're are exceptionally lucky Ifo Ekpre-Olomu will still be available. If so we take him. If not then either CB Marcus Peters or OG AJ Cann.

    Though this is just for the first two picks I'm going to give my opinion on the last two needs here too. For a QB I think we keep Geno, but get a veteran like Brian Hoyer in FA and in fourth grab Shane Carden of ECU.

    As for LB I like David Mayo of Texas State. We could take him in the last round and he would easily become a starter during the season sometime if not the entire year.
