Interesting .... FWIW ..... "Quinn, who has interviewed with five teams, has told friends that the Jets are his top choice, according to sources. The Jets have strong interest in bringing Quinn aboard." http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/jets-top-choice-dan-quinn-sources-article-1.2072452
Also NJ.com is reporting that Quinn and Bowles are the top 2 choices for HC: http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/20...e_as_favorites_for_jets_jobs_per_reports.html
Reports are saying Todd Bowles is considered a favorite to land the job ,but that report also said Quinn was stil the favorite,WTF?
So is Woody, Casserly, Wolf or the secretary in the office who overhead Woody telling somebody that it's Bowles or Quinn either casually telling somebody this and it's leaked to the press or one of them directly telling them this. Again pretty unprofessional if any of this is true.
I wouldn't be surprised if Woody is leaking it himself to gauge fan and media reactions. It's pretty smart actually, since he makes money based on how satisfied his fans are and whether they buy PSLs, etc.
Maccagnan, Quinn and Shanahan would be a fantastic crew for us. Look at how Garcon was used in Shanahan's offense... I would imagine he'd want Harvin to stick around.
Woody doesn't take the future or the Jets seriously? This is literally his only legacy as a human being, lol. I hope he takes it seriously.
I mean whose the Jets coach and GM. The Jets are not his legacy. He's a big time philanthropist plus doesn't he run the Robert Johnson Hospital.
How do you know he is inferior as a defensive coach? And he will probably be a better head coach, Rex was a great defensive coach, but a disorganized mess as a head coach, and focused too much on the defense
We are shooting for a better HC in all aspects of the game, not a better DC.Rex should have no problem replacing Quinn as DC for Seattle.
I dispute using "great" to describe Rex's D coaching. He wasn't a complete mess a a HC just not a good one. He is what his record was: 4 games under.500.
