Winston declares for the draft

Let's just never draft a QB then.

 

I'm not saying not to draft him but I think the Jets have to have a very good plan if they choose to do so and that plan probably includes nailing Winston to the bench in 2015 and not letting him off of it.

 

I don't think anyone would be against that except Manish Mehta.

 

Anyone else see that there has been a couple of mocks giving us mariota at 6. Apparently Jamies is a way better fit in the bucs new oc offense.... Doubt it happens but would be crazy if mariota fell to us

 

One of the mocks was from a Jets fan so it's a little biased, but I saw another one earlier today having him at 6 also.

I think someone would try and trade up to 5 if he fell in the draft.

 

Only way I see he's still on the board at #6 is if he gets named in the lawsuit or a lawsuit is filed against him or teams fear he will be put in a lawsuit as soon as he's drafted (a smart legal move since filing before the draft could effect how much Winston makes to be sued for), I could see teams being skittish given the atmosphere in the NFL right now on such matters.

 

Eli Manning threw 15 ints I think it was his sophomore year and went on to win 2 super bowls

 

Just say you don't want him because he's black. Cut the bullshit.
