What's kinda odd is that you continue to change the argument. I'm not cherry-picking anything, our back and forth started with you pointing to his lack of talent this year as an excuse and my argument is it will be the same thing here. Why would I bring in DC where he had more talent? That's a different discussion

 

Wasn't your entire argument about the one year in Cleveland? Followed by saying he was "washed out" of Washington?

You don't get washed out of Washington. You just coach a few years until the inevitable storm surge comes through and takes everything with it that isn't tied down by a ridiculous long term contract that the devil himself wouldn't have signed.

 

How many people that wanted an offensive-mided head coach wanted Doug Marrone here? Just curious. Because his offense was worse than the Jets'.

 

Kubiak is very offensive, and really good at it...I just dont think he is a very good HEAD COACH.

I would have thought the same thing, but upon reflecting I realize that I want the Seahawks to stick around in case the Pats get through to the SB.

 

When the offense ranks in the top 10 it's probably not the offense that led to a 3-13 record.

 

Hopefully we find someone who can develop a friggin' QB.

No. Seattle ran a balanced offense with a power running scheme and play action...absolutely NOTHING like the Rex ground and pound and wildcat. Running well is not the same as GNP

 

Yeah...the whole "stacked" roster thing doesn't fly with me either. Quinn still had to continue to coach these guys and scheme week in and week out.

When people were whining about getting Marrone and how he screwed up an offensive line from one season to the next then Quinn being impactful from one season to the next applies. While I would absolutely love to see a bit more longevity I'm willing to give him a shot to see what he can do.

 

Quinn was the one behind stopping the Broncos machine and Peyton Manning. He can be really effective here. Damn it, give me the bald Stone Cold Steve Austin.
