1000% on board. I believe hands down he is the best possible selection based on upward potential. The fact that has a DC background means squat. Apparently in his interview he highlighted the need for a savvy draft experienced GM so he is concerned about the entire team. If he is able and lucky enought to find himself a HOF QB, Who knows, he might be the next BB and we will be kissing his ass forever more.

What is there to read? He came into a stacked defense. I'm not saying he going to be a bad coach my problem is we should had went with a offensive guy.

Did you also miss the reports of Quinn wanting to bring Shanahan wherever he goes?

If the Jets traded up for Mariotta after hiring Quinn and Shanahan that would be quite the parallel to 2009.

You may think what you're saying is the truth, but that's only because you're ill-informed on almost every topic you've ever spoken on. This one is no different.

Can't imagine Quinn wants anything to do with Harvin given he has had a first hand look at what Harvin did in Seattle. Seems like a 6th round pick may be all that lost. Have to hope Cooperi s there at 6 if so.

What offensive guy wouldve been better? Kubiak is the only one that we interviewed. Gase isn't bringing Peyton Manning with him, we didn't bring in Hamilton or Jackson, the guy from SD has very little experience. I refuse to call Marrone an offensive guy because he sucks at offense. Rex didn't have success because he wanted a 1940 style ground and pound offense, bad OC's, bad QB play, and the talent on the whole team was very limited due to the GM's. I have no problem with Quinn taking over.

Shanahan left Cleveland because of the front office. He resigned. There were reports that the front office was consistently pushing to have Manziel play when Shanahan knew he wasn't ready. In fact, a couple players are quoted anonymously saying "they were smart to leave now like they did".

There were also reports that the front office was sending text messages down to the coaches on the field to run certain plays and call certain formations. This pissed Shanahan off enough that he left knowing he had something to fall back on.

With Hoyer as his starter, Shanahan led an offense that scored 21 points in 9 games of the first 11 and was at a record of 7-4 going into Buffalo. All while not having three pro bowlers on his offense, Alex Mark, Jordan Cameron, and Josh Gordon. Still, he was 7-4 scoring a lot of points running a zone run offense built around play action. Hoyer was benched by Pettine and everything fell through with Manziel. Hence, why Shanahan wanted out.

Learn your shit before you make claims

Might not even have to trade up for Mariota. Winston could be the first QB off the board. Mariota in the Shanahan system could be intriguing - RG3 had a good rookie season. I hope he looks for a pocket passer tho

Not a big fan of Kyle Shanahan but its not his fault he got burdened with RG3 and Manziel in each respective location by their terrible owner. He has never gotten to work with his own Quarterback outside of maybe Hoyer and Cousins and the latter didn't have the success he did once Shanahan left.

Also Cleveland gave Shanahan nothing at WR in Cleveland despite this being a deep WR class. Miles Austin was the team's number one on opening day with Gordon suspended for much of the year and add Jordan Cameron dealing with injuries and that offense was a mess, especially with Ben tate being such a bust signing.

I don't know if this is true.

Harvin was treated like dog shit in Seattle from everything I read. Yes, I read he had issues with teammates, but since he's been here, he hasn't had one issue and was actually voted as best teammate by our players.

I don't think Dan Quinn would make a move like that when there's so much upside with Harvin. He seems to be doing well here and even referred to this locker room as night and day compared to Seattle.

Did he not help RG3 and the Redskins win the division in his first year? Rg3 won offensive player of the year with him as his OC, however he has not been the same player since his injury.
