You have never demolished any argument, you posted a program that routinely puts over 30,000 into their building for games.

The Syracuse Orange(men) began playing games in the Carrier Dome in the 1980 Season.

Assuming an average of 14 home games a year (which is conserative), that makes 476 games played in the building.

There have been 77 games played with crowds over 30,000 fans.

    77/476 X 100% = %16

Yes, everyone, something that happens 16% of the time is "Routine".

Your arguments are more pathetic by the post

using your usual flawed logic they have played Villanova at the Carrier Dome about 30 times and only had more than 30,000 7 times. 7/30 x100=23%

of the original BE teams only BC has less 30K attendance games at ther Carrier Dome and they stopped playing in the BE 10 years ago but yeah 'Nova is an incredible draw:D they did draw 10K to a 20K seat arena last week!

My argument is rock-solid. To repeat what I said in an earlier post:

"Well, it all goes back to what I said... The Draw. Villanova was irrelevant for most of the early 90's as well as the early 2000's when they transitioned from Lappas to Wright."

Villanova has been a very solid draw since Wright put back the pieces after the Lappas Era, hence they have both the 3rd (2010) and 4th (2006) all-time largest crowds in Carrier Dome History. The Only Big East team to have larger crowds were St John's (1983) and Georgetown (2013, their final appearance in the building).

    There are facts.
    These are irrefutable
These do not require a blown up .gif to distract from a weak argument.

Please, stop it. You're humiliating yourself.

after the Lappas era when they won a BE reg season title in '95 and a postseason title in '97(something Wright has never done)? had those hyped up teams w/ Kittles and co. in the mid 90s and were a big draw. were a championship caliber program in the 80s so why only 7 times in 30+ years?

I do feel shame for making you always look bad- then again you really do it al by yourself. You are 100% clueless.

Yes, After the Lappas Era, when they failed to make the NCAA Tournament in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 & 2004. Five consecutive years of utter failure, disgrace, and embarrassment, which never happened to any other Big East team on that list which drew 30,000+ at that arena seven times.

The louder and angrier you get for losing this argument, the more pathetic you become.

but they had success in the 90s, you said they were irrelevant in the 90s and that's not true. I specifically remember a huge recruit they beat Dean Smith and North Carolina out for and Carolina was the top program in the Country at the time.

I am not you, I don't get angry. I feel like I am losing IQ points arguing w/ you but I am not angry. Stupidity saddens me more than angers me.

It's not true, because that is not what i said. I said they were irrelevant in the EARLY 90's:

"Villanova was irrelevant for most of the early 90's as well as the early 2000's when they transitioned from Lappas to Wright."

    1990: 18-16
    1991: 17-15
    1992: 14-15
    1993: 8-19

Perhaps that is your problem. Can you read?

That would be Tim Thomas, the player that Steve Lappas sold the programs heart and soul to get, only to leave after one year, after he took away key minuted from Jason Lawson, essentially ending any hopes he had of a serious pro career. Alvin Williams somehow managed to go on to have a respectable NBA career.

All your insults can not changed the facts:

    1) You said Villanova cannot draw. I gave you factual contradictory evidence
    2) You countered by evidence by saying Rutgers drew the same crowd, which I blew away by saying Carmello Anthony's farewell drew that crowd
    3) You tried to alter my arguments to save your own face. I'll just continue to cut n' paste word for word what i said.

Even North Carolina has to lose sometime. Suck it up, and show the same class you contend that your team does.

what does that have to do w/ anything? I pointed out the success in the 90s. they were not irrelevant under Lappas

1)I never said they couldn't draw, I laughed at drawing 10,000 in a 20,00 seat arean and it was more of a shot at SH than Nova.
2)you blew away nothing, you showed some of the top attendance games at SU which had everything to do w/ SU and very little to do w/ opponent.
3)I didn't alter anything, I don't need to save face. the whiny nova guy does.

if you didn't have such an inferiority complex this debate never happens.

Wasn't easy until the last 10 mins.

BTW, as good, even great, as Kentucky is, there is no way they are going to finish the season undefeated. That SEC is too damn tough, and even if they finished the regular season undefeated, that grind of playing that conference will cost them in the post season.

the SEC sucks but they are a young team and they will have games like last night. every game will not get their A effort and a team will likely pick them off once or twice.

Now that we are done with the preliminaries, we can now proceed with what is undoubtedly THE game of the week: Little underdog upstart wonderkids Gonzaga will challenge the national powerhouse known as San Francisco. SF, one of the many Mega-Programs from the dreaded WCC posts a dominating 7-9 record, has taken the nation by storm by virtue of their victory this season over Hawaii. Such an impressive victory clearly eliminates any stain from losses to Florida Gulf Coast, Evansville, and Cal Polly.

Don't let that 20 1/2 point spread fool you. This one should go down to the wire for sure!!!

BYU is the only team in the WCC with an arena with more than 6,000 seats.

You are dead right USF, San Francisco, IS a national powerhouse!

Don't you remember them winning back to back titles with All-American Bill Russell just a couple years ago?

Hopefully little Gonzaga can upset them..
